Hi All Spurs Fan, what's your thoughts on the transfer window?

We have spent £49 million so far

Arsenal have spent £0

Are you still the biggest team in North London?

How can we spend so much & Arsenal 0

I really do not understand, Please put me in my place & shed some light on how this can happen

Reply with common seance answers, yes we are going to sell Bale that's Life, and NO he is not worth £86 million! If you are honest you must be pulling your hair out lol that's it for now have a good season. {Ed027's Note - I don't see how we aren't the biggest team in North London, there's nobody bigger than us lol, i'm not joking either

I think you've spent well, on two players who were very good in their respective leagues.
Whilst I feel Paulinho will take a year to adapt, I don't feel Soldado will at all.

That's not bitterness, I love Soldado, I wish we'd of bought him, just for intent!
But I don't feel he's going to kick you up a gear.
The biggest, meanest, toughest defenders in la Liga last year (not best, just the aforementioned qualities) for me, we're Amorbeita, Pepe and Sergio Ramos.
Soldado did well in the league, against most teams, but when he's got the thugs like Shawcross, Huth, Terry, Vidi etc kicking seven shades out of him, how will he react?

Also, NO la Liga central defenders bar Ramos have a real turn of pace, not like Kompany, Luiz, Koscielny and even your own Verthongen can turn on.

Soldado's real talent lies in his ability as a poacher, he can lurk around the box and make something happen.

If you do keep Bale, you've then got a player who'll supply Soldado with crosses to meet, as well as link up with him.

If you sell Bale, you've lost your quality out wide.
Lennon offers nothing other than pace, and Chadili needs a season or two before he settles.

Unless we sign 2 key players for key areas, DM and Winger in my eyes, you'll push us close to the wire this season.
But we always have, and will have the mental edge.
Tottenham fans, players, board and staff all know that we just won't lose out to you in the league.

Not being cocky, but our mental strength (oh god, I sound like Arsene!) is impeccable!

North London is red my friend, and to be fair, if Abramovich hadn't whored Chelsea, London would just be our stomping ground.

City have spent more then united I'd still say unite are the bigger team?

You've spent all that money and are still going to w challenging 4th we spent none and we are challenging 4th?

If we spent 50 odd m we'd be challenging title that's the major difference

1. To call yourself the biggest team in north london even before the season has been kicked off is ridiculous.
2. you obviously need to replace your whole team (bale) before next season, so that's the reason you spend big.
3. Arsenal has not spended yet, because we will sign world class players, and that kind of deals take time, also our spot in the CL is not secured, so that also has an impact.

You on the other side are secured spursday night football, so enjoy that.

We are and always have been the biggest club in north london since our move from south years ago. Although we are going through a rough patch when was the last time you won the league? When was the last time you where in the champions league final?
Have u ever gone the whole season undefeated? and for the record you will never finish above us and haven't done in how many years. So dream on {Ed027's Note - register please

Not only are Arsenal the Biggest Club in North London, until 1965 they were the ONLY club in North London.
Spuds were a Middlesex club until Toot was incorporated into the New London Borough of Haringey in 1965. In fact we have always been a London club. Twenty seven years in Woolwich and 100 in Islington! Makes you proud to be a real London Club, don't it! LOL. {Ed027's Note - register please

Could you please stop with this silly banter. Why do you think you spent the money well?
Soldado is not good enough for a top4 side, no matter how much you'd like to believe, Spain rather plays without a striker than start him or they start torres
Paulinho is completely unproven, once we see him in action we can talk, Chadli, never heard of him
You can make arguements about money spent all you want, but sometimes 24m is enough (RvP) for a title, sometimes half a billion isn't.
I still hold my opinion that we strengthened this year by not selling any 1st players.
We still have time to spend, nothing would please me more than just buying suarez for those 50m and getting it done, if he flops he flops, or he can give us that push we need upfront. so please, stop with this big club thing, because right now, you aren't even close. Build a new stadium, get a global fanbase, get in the Cl then we will talk

I'm sitting on the train with my brother. He bought €12 worth of snacks. I spent zero. He hasn't gotten any bigger.

He'd have to do a lot of eating to catch up to me.

Arsenal are 6ft2"
Spurs are 5ft6"

Spending money equals biggest team? Go support PSG or City with such reasoning, I mean they spent the most so they are the biggest team now?

9.) 06 Aug 2013
At least went until the transfer window closes.

And even then spending doesn't necessarily mean anything- you have spend more than us in the last 10 years (fact), let a lone this window and yet we've finished in a higher league position- are you sure you can gloat?

Besides, If you're a big club you would have to won the league at least once in the last 50 years.

So perhaps come back when you have a league title as well.

Will talk common séance only with the deceased.

Firstly, admitting you're a spud is always brave in public, so fair play.

Secondly, you need to spend loads of money because you are so cr*p.

Blah blah blah, if spending money is all you have to boast about them go support a real team.

Lastly, if monkey boy goes you will need to spend double what you get for him, people used to call us a one man team with RVP, but nobody can even remember any of your other players names because you're such a one man team.

12.) 06 Aug 2013
I think it's up to you to convince us your the bigger club. You have spent more then us for quite a few years and where's it got you? Below us.
You pray every year for Champions league.
Us - tick
You want to build a state of the art stadium.
Us - tick
You want to win the premier league.
Us - tick tick tick

You've won the league twice in your whole existance.

We've won it 13 times. Twice at your place.

Come on fella, you can do better then this surely?
Flybo

13.) 06 Aug 2013
Yes mate your correct we have not spent anything yet lol lol that's the only valid thing your statement says It would be pointless arguing with you my friend just look at the facts of the lpremiership since it started and answer this Have you ever one it and how many times have you finished higher then us ok mate you best go back to your own site bye

14.) 06 Aug 2013
So you spend Money. Good for you spuddies! Spend that Bale money before he is sold, I do hope you are unable to sell him and when you miss out on CL, yet again, I will enjoy the "firesale" to keep the club going.

Maybe you can take out a mortage on s**** Hart Lane when the numbers shines red? Top, top quality cesspit in a great surrounding where the people arange outdoor activities like setting their neighborhoud on fire. Great part of London Tottenham is, a great part.

I think the Forbes rich list, size of ground, 13 league titles, constantly higher league position. We've had Henry, Pires, Bergkamp, Viera, Petit, Fabregas, RVP etc and you on the other hand have had Bale.

You are quite simply another team in North London who have recently performed on a par with Newcatle or Everton.

When you genuinely have something to crow about, or in your case, chicken on a football, pop back and give it some.
