Eds, heard some rumours (none too reliable) that eto'o wants to join Arsenal in the summer.

Hey Ed. Just seen an article regarding Benzema and the fact that he would like to sign for PSG. Were this to happen, then surely Cavani would want to leave? Do you reckon Arsenal would go for him were he to become available or would he be too much?
Also, if I may, any further rumblings on Lukaku's situation?

{Ed025's Note - cavani would have to take a massive wage cut to join arsenal ross, and thats not very likely, lukaku,s situation will not be decided until after the world cup, and if he does well, we can expect a bidding war which i cant see arsenal getting involved with mate..

I know I've asked this before but what's the update with di Maria and arsenal?
{Ed002's Note - I do not know if they have yet submitted a bid but Arsenal, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Juventus are all interested in Di Maria. There has been an offer from Monaco and an rejected PSG offer, although they may well return with another offer. If he cannot stay at Real Madrid, the player would not object to a move to Italy should the opportunity arise and Juventus may give him that opportunity, perhaps as part of a package deal that could see players being exchanged. If not, he would be beyond the means of Juventus. Madrid seem keen to hang on to him.}

Question for my fellow Gooners. We all heard/read Wenger say how he believes Poldi best role is as the 2nd striker as he can't play upfront on his own, right? So why then, when he changed the formation to 442 in the cup final, did he sub Poldi? Surely, he would've made more of those chances than Sanogo did.
What difference does it make? how do you know we would've created the same chances? would podolski have worked as hard as sanogo did when he came on?
don't really see the point of this question, when the change clearly made a difference and won us the game.
Because Wenger hates Podolski no reason why he couldn't play as striker this season when Girouds form dipped!

Baz, Wenger has played Pod as a centre forward and it's failed each and every time. There is no mystery around his lack of starts, it's plain to see. He doesn't work hard, he doesn't hold the ball up, his off the ball movement is poor, and when he doesn't score a goal he contributes almost nothing to a game of football.
