Benzema and Di Maria won't happen. Deal for Aurier looking more and more likely. Also expect deals for a new back up GK, a new DM and striker.

Eds any reason to believe the Vela/Milner rumours? And any info on Alexis Sanchez?

J.K.

{Ed002's Note - There is nothing new - everything I have said on these players remains valid.}

Jovetic is not coming to Arsenal. Deal was never on anyway. Any Rooney or Lewandovski rumours are false. Expect Wenger to sign a striker from either the Dutch Eredivisie or Bundesliga.

J.K.

1.) How about Lewandowski from the Bundesliga!!

2.) Jozy Altidore! Alright America! I want Lewandowski tho.

3.) Hopefully we can sign mignolet or cesar

4.) Lewandovski won't sign. Another Bundesliga striker Stefan Kißling of Bayern Leverkusen looks more likely. As does Wilfried Bony of Vittese Arnehm. Both would be available for around £10m.

Ashley Williams will not come to arsenal. We will get a new CB but he will not be from another premier league club.

J.K.

1.) We've signed Williams.

A GOONER

2.) Well said, he will be from Germany or Poland

Verulam gooner

3.) No, he'll join

Gervinho and Sanga look set to leave and relieve some money from the wage bill with their preferred destinations being France. Expect them each to go for about £6m - £10m

J.K.

1.) Great news for Gervinho, Sagna can be replaced I think, Jenkinson is getting better and better and Corchia or Piszcechk would be a good replacement.

2.) Sanga will go for free he out of contract

3.) Who would pay that sort of money for Gervinho. It has probably escaped people's attention that French clubs (with the exception of PSG and Monaco) buy low and sell high. So we will be lucky to sell him to France for half what we paid. Can't even see a Turkish club bidding form him. Just be good to get him off the wage bill! (Another Wenger failed punt!)

4.) His contract runs out next year but he refusing to sign an extension.

5.) Lyon want Gervinho 14mill

6.) Gervinho going nowhere, but Sagna will leave. He'll want big wages I think so a move to Monaco may be on the cards for him.

Arsenal set to clear out dead-wood players and relieve £350k from wage bill.

J.K.

1.) I tallied it up. The 'deadwood' earn 858k a week between them.

StEvE

2.) Who exactly are YOU classing as deadwood?!

3.) Everyone, probably.

There are people on here who think Arteta is deadwood

4.) Then we'll just get some more in! Young player with potential but never get player enough

Higuain will not go to Juventus as they have already secured another striker. Arsenal unlikely to bid for him, this has been a rumour for many years. Expect a striker from either the Dutch League or the German Bundesliga.

After watching the champions league final last night. Gundogan looks like a quality player that could fill the box to box midfielder role that Wenger is looking for.

J.K.

1.) Soo agree. He looks a pearl. Borrusia have 5 players that I would love to see at the Emirates:

Pisczek--> Sagna out
Subotic --> Vermalaen out
Gundogan --> Diaby and Coquelin out
Lewandowski
Marko Reus --> Gervinho out

wishful thinking I know, but I am allowed to dream aren't I?

Kevin Strootman - PSV Eindhoven - looks like a good young midfielder that would suit Arsenal's style. He scored 6 goals and made 10 assists in the Dutch Eridivisie last season.

J.K.

1.) He is among my top choices for the DM position

I consider him to already be world class, fixed starter for Dutch

Hoping and praying for Jovetic deal (he's an outstanding player) but i'd don't believe that we would spend £30m for him. No more than £24m in my opinion.

Lewandowski - immposible deal
Vermaelen - out for £7m - £12m
Chamakh - driving him to the airport

J.K.

1.) 30 million euros buddy, not pounds. so you're much closer with your £24m estimation

2.) And maybe we try to include Chammakh or Bendtner to the deal who knows? That's what I'll do!

Stan
