You said a while ago to ask about Stephane Sparagna in June 2016 but I read somewhere that his contract runs out this summer. Not sure if that is true. He played well in the Toulon Tournament so do you have any updates?

{Ed002's Note - He has an offer from Marseille to extend.}

Hey Eds. A bit of a strange/vague request, but I'm watching the German coverage of the u17s Euros final, and the commentator mentioned Arsenal and Man United were interested in one of the French players. I missed their name, so have you heard about any interest we have in players in the French u17 side or at the tournament in general?

OneArseneWenger

{Ed001's Note - it could be one of a few to be honest, Wenger always keeps a close eye on French youth football. Most likely would be Edouard (I think that is how it is spelt) or Bradley Danger (yes that really is his name!) as those are the two I can remember being mentioned in recent times from their squad.}

Danger vs Hazard sounds like a great billing!

Could it be yassin fortune or Jeff Reine-Adelaide from rc lens or rayan souici from st etiene eds? Heard we are interested in them and a few papers saying we have agreed deals for them.

{Ed002's Note - Arsenal's interest is in Yassin Fortuné and Jeff-Reine Adelaide. Manchester United were interested in Fortuné as well as two of the German players. They considered the fee for Fortuné to be too high.}

It has been said on here that whether or not we go for Krychowiak is dependent on whether or not we're prepared to wait for Carvalho. If Flamini leaves, does that mean we've decided to get Krychowiak now? Are there any other targets ahead of him left on the market?

Thanks for the update. Romagnoli would be a great buy, but have you heard anything about Joseph Gomez? Seems like a good option as he's young, English, and we have links with Charlton. Cheers.

Further rambling for anyone interested:
I don't think Vidal will happen, but for footballing reasons rather than lingual. 9 senior players speak Spanish as well as the manager. That is generally not as much of a problem at Arsenal.
We'd play Vidal in a restricted deep central role, but he has much more to his game than that. We'd be paying for other attributes that he won't be using much at all. We already have Cazorla, Ramsey and Wilshere for the more free deep central role. Only player I could see going is Cazorla but his form is too good. Schneiderlin is cheaper and more specialised (though he can get stuff done up the pitch) so he's a better option. Carvalho and Wanyama are there as even more specialised options.
I'd love to see Cech come to the club. He's world class but old enough for Szczesny to work his way back into the team in a year or so. If we're going to buy a keeper now, we may as well get someone that is currently top class rather than a work in progress like Szczesny. Pointless sideways movement otherwise.
Fekir and Calhanoglu would be ideal as they're at the right age to inherit Ozil's spot as they're coming into their prime. Isco would be more expensive and I'm not sure where he'd fit in as Ozil is better and he doesn't seem to have the necessary skill to play deeper. Not Premier League wing material either. Too good for the bench so I don't see him coming here.

{Ed002's Note - Joseph Gomez is just a kid and I would doubt I would come across anything.}
