Big defensive midfielder, 26 year old (so probably shaves unlike what will be on the bench this Sunday for Arsenal), German International, has won at many levels, currently with Real Madrid, what's not to like?

If Malaga is right both new signings should be in London by now, no?

I would like to think when Arteta comes back he walks right back into his starting role. This team is much better when he is in the side. I think Wilshere may see less time when Arteta returns.

If Arsenal sign no one else they will finish 6th, sad to say. The squad is just too thin and I swear Arsenal gets more long term injuries year in and year out than any other team in the Prem.
If Arsenal had two Aaron Ramseys I wouldn't be so worried about the squad right now. As it is fans attending the match this Sunday may want to bring their boots cause they might get a game.
