Let's be honest about Saturday, we got beaten by a very good team. We weren't getting carried away before last week, let's not get downbeat after it. It takes 38 games to make a season and only spurs fans think you win anything in November / December!

We all want new signings to strengthen the challenge, but think how completely spirit crushing it will be for the spurs if 110 million later they still can't beat us!
1.) But it won't be 110 mil spent will it? it will be selling there best player and replacing him 4-5 good signings at a cost of 25+ mil which is very good business, business they have gone out and got completed in good time with no messing.
Very big 30 odd hours for our club now, huge.
2.) I agree but we know we have work to do. If you listen to them they've already won the league

I sometimes hear voices as well. I have been advised to ignore them.

Lets face it, we're just rubbish at transfers full stop.
Rob, I was using it as an example of setting the team up to play against specific opposition rather playing the same way against everyone and closing our eyes and hoping for the best. If we set up as normal, I think everyone knows what the outcome will be. We have limited options in front of the back 4 so maybe, against better sides, we have to set up differently.
I agree with the comments made by Pete but I also think that we could choose to 'match' Chelsea by playing a midfield 3 of Diaby, Flamini and perhaps Coquellin with Welbeck, Sanchez and the OX up front. These are players that area available and would give us a solidity and responsibility in midfield with pace on the break, . Give them a taste of their own medicine and not worry about making the game. they're at home, they need to worry about that. We just to win, any how any way.
Will be there about 1 to have a couple of small sweet sherry's before the game starts.
The FFP rules are almost unenforceable as they are. UEFA have no stomach for kicking out teams who break the rules as they are invariably the big teams that bring the TV interest and all the sponsorship money. I think a solution may be to introduce a penalty point system for clubs that break the rules, say a 1 point deduction during the group stages for every £5million over the allowed amount. it would make any decision to overspend a calculated one?
