Why can we not stretch the funds and get fellaini, if we put in a 20 mill bid for bender then surely we can up it a bit to get fellaini, surely it can't be the wages with what we have just freed up with the players we sold and are selling?
1.) Coz Fellaini isn't worth that much! Bender and Gundogan are way better and worth 25mil.
2.) Agree with Mark. We could spend £20m on anyone but if they are not worth that kind of money. should we really just give other clubs our money because we can afford it? Bender would be quality
3.) I will agree for gundogan, but for bender? i'm not sure he is as good as fellani at the moment.
4.) Pray tell, how is Bender better than Fellaini? I've seen a few Bender games and he is not special. He doesn't dominate a midfield like Fellaini and he runs like Giroud - slowly, like his legs are tied together. I'm actually praying we don't get Bender.
Gundogan for CM or AM is okay. I don't think he will cut it in the premier league as a dominant DM. He'll just be another Nuri Sahin.
Fellaini is the man. He may not be good at 'pass and move', but we have many players good at that. We want someone who will be a nuisance to the opposition.
My alternative to Fellaini would be Morgan Schneiderlin. Not a big name but he knows his job, reads the game well and tackles well. Proper DM.
5.) My concern here is that Fellaini is not a proper DM and I worry that he will be leaving big open spaces and no cover for CB's if he comes in. He isn't the most mobile player around and really don't believe he suits our current style of play.

why is he a plastic gooner if he has a season ticket, his probably sick to the back teeth of the lies as the rest of us, it has happened for to long!
