Suarez on his way. Fee negotiated at £45m. Legal work, etc in progress. All in time for the CL playoffs and for Liverpool to sign his replacement.

4.) 06 Aug 2013
Robbie that's a good try but there's not a day goes by without someone saying something similar. someone is going to be right but I don't think it's you.

5.) 06 Aug 2013
Robbie explain how you know this to be true as we are all getting fed up with all these stupid deal done posts that turn out to be total crap.

6.) 06 Aug 2013
Are you at least going to try and valodate this with a source?

7.) 06 Aug 2013
Lets hope so because this is getting drawn out now, I would like a end to it no way or another

8.) 06 Aug 2013
You this because you slept with Brendan Rogers?

9.) 06 Aug 2013
For those cynics, I can reassure you the wheels are in motion. Of course I can't give the source, as its sensitive and can't be divulged. Trust me, he is on his way, all being well.

10.) 06 Aug 2013
Is your source the sun newspaper? If so he should be having his medical just after hig's lol.
these rumours an secret sources are getting worse.

11.) 06 Aug 2013

12.) 06 Aug 2013
Same old same old but I hope you are right

13.) 06 Aug 2013
I hold slum nothing's for this but if your right would explain why he was left out from Norwich friendly due to injury

14.) 06 Aug 2013
I can find some truth in your news Robbie as just now the news broke out about Suarez has gone public with his desire to leave for Arsenal. Thanks for news in advance!

15.) 06 Aug 2013
He is coming, it goes like this: the £40,000001 offer is enough anyway it says in the contract if they didn't make it last year which they didn't he can leave for a cl club ie us, but Liverpool are playing like a bunch of spoilt children, breaking the contract and there word to saurez, saurez has already stated this, they just can't handle that the bid has been put forward buy arsenal and now he is worth a lot more from last years performance but that's there fault, so there now trying to say anything to get there way buy saying he worth £50m now as much as bale £100 even got the cheek to disrespect are club saying were not cl team cause we ain't qualified anything to keep him, that's why wenger has said he will sit back and wait, he knows we have them on the back ropes, we been there many times it's are turn so IMO year he coming? Sorry for long post

16.) 07 Aug 2013
I have been very cautious with my optimism regarding the Suarez deal, however this post seems very credible now that the player has declared his intention to leave and join us. this is by no means a guarantee it will happen but with the whole debacle over the $40,000, 001 bid, it looks as if Liverpool are playing games and are trying to drag this out to find a replacement. trying to control my excitement as I don't want to be let down again

not sure how these clauses work. Ed02 would know, but he doesn't like this page.

well we will have to wait till the transfer window to end to find out, if it was a buy out clause or a release clause, how these clauses work. if the club has to accept it and notify the league or it automatically gets accepted? god and Ed02 know, but its unlikely we will hear from either of them

{Ed022's Note - As I see it there is a discrepency of the £40m plus clause in Suarez's contract. His agent feels if a club bid over £40m and are in the champions league (which Arsenal technically are) and officially will be soon, then Liverpool have to accept. Liverpool are playing hardball and claiming that the clause only means they have to inform the player. In an ideal world Liverpool will sell to Real Madrid. A bit like Arsenal wanting to sell RVP to Juventus (for less money). Instead Arsenal had to sell to a rival and basically handed United the league. Liverpool are scared that the gap between the top four and them would increase should they sell to Arsenal...}
