BIG NEWS: The Daily Mirror's Arsenal reporter John Cross is saying that Arsenal have got Mesut Ozil on a permanent deal for around £42m. He will have a medical in Germany where he is on international duty.

Gervinho could now be on his way to Lyon. Roma had been interested in a deal but were unable to match Arsenal's valuation of the Ivory Coast international. Reports suggest that, if Lyon offer �7m (£6.1m) plus Yoann Gourcuff for Gervinho, then Arsenal could be tempted to accept the bid.

i bet you complained when wenger didn't get baletolli yet wenger was right not to, he knows more than any of us and we can only go by what the press writes, as for martinez well he is way overpriced for his age and i don't think he would do well in the prem.
