couple of humble points.

Fabregas was our captain, stalled for a deal and went to his boyhood club, ok. He was worshipped at Arsenal but mugged us off with feigned injuries and not turning up to even watch his own team play in his final 3 months. Would I have had him back, no, it would have jeopardised Ramsey Wilshere and OX development if injuries didn't come into play.

Next we miss out on Martinez, AW you fool the fella is a beast and Athletico will do some damage with him on board.

Reading next Schniederlin is off to the Mancs. Un effin believable if it happens, another one bites the dust.

Yeah call me a cynic but I'm tired of stupid management decisions that are affecting my club.

doubt whether this will be shown but its what I think.

Over and over and over again.

i bet you complained when wenger didn't get baletolli yet wenger was right not to, he knows more than any of us and we can only go by what the press writes, as for martinez well he is way overpriced for his age and i don't think he would do well in the prem.

I agree on Fabregas. Won't comment on any other missed transfers until the window closes, as I don't pretend to know Wengers mind.

If true and Spyder has that little ambition then its best we don't sign him, he already had Europa league football at Southampton so if it is true money is his only reason for joining utd
All can say is WE GOT PETR CECH, WE GOT PETR CECH

So you wouldn't have fabregas (for those reasons) but you want spyder, when both of them play along side a dmf?

G62 that made me laugh.

And I suppose these stupid management decisions are the same ones that have lead to us signing Alexis, Ozil, Cech etc.

The same stupid decisions that brought Le Coq back off loan and inspired us to finish so well.

If AW wanted Martinez he would of signed him, it's as simple as that but Wenger knows best. The transfer window isn't even open yet so give the man a break and trust his judgement.

I can only imagine what it would be like if every Tom, dick and Harry was a manager, this is the real world not Fifa..

Apologies gents rant over

Welcome back Peter long time no read mate, I don't agree with all your super Arsene bit mate but good to hear from you again.
Le Coq? Master management or a very very lucky piece of good fortune born out of share desperation to rescue a season that was in serious danger of imploding.
If Arsene had bought a DM and a CB in August would we have struggled so badly in the first half of the season? " Struggle what struggle " I hear you say :-) " we were 5th and had terrible injuries "! Exactly is my reply :-).
It doesn't matter now because we have Le Coq who for me is as good as we could ask for plus Gabriel who I think will join Le Coq on that level this season plus the mighty Petr Cech.
Arsene still the genius he once was? Yet to be decided but at this moment in time there are very good arguments both for and against it especially when you take into account it was by Arsene's own addmition player power that forced his hand to change tactics at city thus bringing about a performance that would change our formation and tactics and ultimately our season

Thanks G62 mate appreciate that! Don't get me wrong G62 I've cursed AW over the years for decisions he's made and players he's bought and sold but it just frustrates the life out of me when people winge about missing so called targets.

I agree with your points about if he'd signed players before the start of last season where would we have finished, but that's just it "WHAT IF....."

My previous post might come across as a bit of wenger 'lovin' but it is so easy to criticise him because we haven't signed one of the endless number of targets that we seemed to be linked to its just very annoying to read stupid posts like that...

End of rant #2 ;-)

Peter I'm with you there mate, were linked with a player by the media who Arsene may well have no interest in at all then when they sign for someone else people say we lost out because of fee, wages, agents fee's or whatever when infact we were never interested in the first place.
People confuse reality and dreams sometimes then blame others for not making it happen.
I'm pleased with how things are right now and am looking forward to a real challenge next season because how we got where we are is history its where we're going that matters now.
