I genuinely don't think I can take this love in anymore. Whatever happened to rivalry?

As soon as the scousers go top of the league they all come out of hiding on here wishing us 'good luck' for 4th place. Saying we'll be 'genuine contenders' next season like they own the league. It's so patronising and cringe worthy and we take the bate, wishing them well, etc. It's like watching a guy flirting with your wife/girlfriend right in front of you, then instead of telling him where to go, you start having a casual chat with him.

Man up! Support your team and screw everyone else! Show some proper rivalry towards our title rivals and we might do the same on the pitch!

G95 This has been going on all season between LFC and AFC supporters. Kopites coming on this site wishing you every success is fishing for compliments. They think that by congratulating yourselves for reaching the FA Cup final/pushing for 4th (which we've not given up on by the way) you will then start praising them for being top of the table.
I think your boys started this 'love in' and the dating agency is doing roaring trade between certain posters still.
I'm with you on this one.
Banter is by it's very nature the reason why we post and visit other sites. Not to be abusive and personal but to enjoy some ribbing and p*** taking between clubs and supporters.

From a personal point of view.I'd prefer to see Arsenal get into the champs league again, because they have better squad talent and depth, If everton get champs league football, they'll fall to the bottom of the table. You've relied a lot on Barry, Lukaku and when he was fit Deofoleu.You won't have these 3 players next season, you won't have any one to cover them when they're gone. I think Arsenal will get further, therefore allowing us to keep 4 places in the champs league, and getting more money into British football.

{Ed025's Note - you are talking as though arsenal are a better side than everton bob!..we actually made an absolute show of them at goodison, and though there is not a lot between us, you seem to think that our success is down to our loans, let me tell you that we will strengthen significantly come summer, and will be even stronger next season..
