I saw someone post that we liverpool fans think Lallana is better than Fabregas. Thought I would spark some banter with you guys.

Lallana being I think 26, Fabregas 28
Wages:around 45k a week, Fabregas 150k per week
Transfer prices rumoured to both be around 30 million.

I understand you guys would be biased toward Cesc, but I have to say ability wise they're both pretty top drawer players. But under the above circumstances I have to say I prefer AL. I can understand why you guys would want cesc, as when given a free roam kind of role he's pretty crafty. So there are reasons for both to sign their preferred player.

So I'll finish with, if you're liverpool, assuming you can pursue both players, do you prefer AL or CF?

Same for Arsenal.

Cheers guys :).

(Ps, hope that you guys get remy, I feel sorry for Dags wife, having to clean all this underwear he's running through).

{Ed025's Note - the difference is plain to see Tj, cesc is a world class player, proven quality and an international of repute, he is also 27, adam lallana is a decent PL player, but never won anything, and is an international novice..

If I was Liverpool I would persue Lallana, but that's really just due to the different realistic ambitions of the clubs.
If Liverpool compete in more competitions that just the league next season for a change then they'll need quite a few signings.
Liverpool just aren't a big enough name to attract the Cesc's of this world.

But Arsenal aren't a big enough name to attract the Suarez's of this world either.

I think your right AG, Saurez has no interest in us at all he only has eyes for Real. They want him he wants them end of story

TJRed, I do keep the wife busy in the laundry dept, lol.

Fab vs Lallana? Its ridiculous to compare the 2 players.
Fab has been world class for years, World cup and Euro champion for Spain, as well as a seasoned international.
Lallana is good, very good but one season doesn't make you world class.
The 2 are not even worth comparing but give me Fab every day of the week and twice on a Sunday.

Don't start with the big enough arguments. Pointless.
