Interesting stat that Banbury posted earlier.

Giroud has scored more headed goals since start of last season's Prem.

Got me thinking.
Are headed goal's a thing of the past?

How many does Sturridge, Rooney, Aguero, Suarez, (last season), Negredo, Saldado, RVP, Lukaku, Torres, Ba, Eto'o, Benteke, Agbonlahar, etc etc score with their head?

Compare the above to the likes of Shearer and James Beattie.

Interesting heh?

Or am I just bored?

Did it really matter how many goals suarez or henry for that matter (didnt he get 1) score with their heads. It matters you take your chances at the right time and can cope with pressure.

Giroud did take his chance at the right time 90th minute.

The first one. no chance, a ball travelling at pass coming over his head, it would have been goal of the last two centuries.

The one he dragged wide, the only place for the ball to go was to Howards left post, Jagielka slid across OG to block the other side of the goal.
