I don't get the pessimism about signing Reggie, I wish we're signed him in August.
Its an attemt to right a wrong even if he's not Hummel's.

In principle I agree G62, but the issue is that if we but him we won't get another CB now or in summer, and we could do with someone very good.

I also have a horrible feeling whenever we get French players hitting their 30's. will it be another squillaci?

Fair comment Oleg but I'm not sure we can wait until the summer mate, Kos ain't right and Merts ain't that interested imo.
We do need to act now on both DM and CB and if it can't be Pogba and Hummel's then we have to accept the best we can get
