Chelsea's performance yesterday was the ultimate compliment to us. It's a performance that says ' if we go head to head with you, we'll lose' so instead they sit back and prey to find s goal on the break, yes it's boring but mourinho plays like that at the Emirates out of fear

George graham? Before my time mate, having said that, I know footballs changed a lot since the 90s

It's true because last season he had no fear whatsoever taking it to us as we couldn't defend to save our lives.

Since January a whole new ball game.

Their celebraton at holding us to a point says it all. For them a point was a good result. I think they had more fear of us than the other way around. A big change from last few years. Do I have to say Terry and Mourinho = no class...Or is that redundant -:).

{Ed025's Note - not nice people imo yyc, but as far as football goes their records speak for themselves mate..

He had an average record at Real Ed. I can't argue that Terry has had an excellent career on the pitch but I would like to see Mourinho manage an international team one day or a team who isn't considered one of the best in their country - like Sir Alex leading Aberdeen to European and domestic glory, or Simeone winning la liga with Atletico and taking them to the champions league final with no 'massive' signings and a modest wage bill.

Regardless though, I can't deny he will go down as one of the greats and I'm not saying he hasn't deserved it - he's a very decorated manager and he's still relatively young.

{Ed025's Note - he sort of achieved that with porto TPG..

Jose at Madrid ended the last 16 curse. That was massive for them. Used to always lose to Lyon lol

Jose at Madrid beat arguably the best team this planet has seen to the title

you must be joking. wenger gets slated for not being able to beat mourinho with an inferior teams, and here we have mourinho with the most stacked team in years in madrid and he could only muster 3 wins over their eternal rivals? 1 copa del rey, 1 la liga title? go have a look and see what barca won during that time with their managers. people have goldfish memories.

He won there first copa del ray since 1993 I think or something silly. He broke them free of a lot of bad runs they were stuck in a rut in some ways

For me Ed, Porto are one of the top teams in their league - along with Benfica and Sporting. What he did with União de Leiria was closer to what I mean.

{Ed025's Note - porto are decent side TPG, but for them to win the CL was a great feat imo mate..

Yeah fair play Ed, it was. I've had a few nights sleep and can now have a more reasonable outlook (red tinted glasses aside) - I'm usually fairly graceful in a defeat/draw but I've never been a Chelsea fan and I really don't like Mourinho since he returned to England and his tactics recently are so frustrating to watch. For the record, he still isn't anywhere near Sir Alex yet though, amongst others :P

{Ed025's Note - not many are chelsea fans TPG because of what they stand for, but the fact is they are the best team in the league mate, they will never be a proper club in my eyes though..but maybe thats just me..
