Words cannot even describe how frustrating it is to hear Wenger constantly blather on about waiting for the 'right player to become available' the right players have been available since the window opened and other than Cech, who refused to move to any other club, we've done NOTHING!

Cavani is available
Zlatan is available
Lacazette was available before he signed a new deal
Carvalho was available before his injury
Krychowiak was available before he recently made up his mind
Romagnoli was available, we lost out to Milan, I bet we didn't even make an enquiry
Vidal was available, went to Bayern, again bet we didn't even make an approach.
Khedira was available ON A FREE
Mandzukic was available
Dybala was available
Schweinsteiger was available
Otamendi was available

The right players have been and some still are available and we've done nothing other than sign a player, good as he may be, who explicitly made it known that Arsenal was the only club he wanted to move to.

We won't make any significant signings by Tuesday, and if we do it will be another deadline day panic buy which we all complain about at first, then delude ourselves into thinking they could be the real deal, before realising their just dog s**t awful.

Its more than a trend now.

And the player who I thought we would definitely sign was available.

Morgan Schneiderlin.

Obviously Arsene didn't or doesn't consider any of them special players

Zlatan returning to malmo with PSG. He will sit on his wages for his final year of his deal.

I think Wengers point is, players that are available maybe available at a better rate nearer the end of the window.

It's not about special, it's bout improving and strengthening the squad, and it's hard to argue that any of those guys wouldn't. Arsene is the only person on earth who can't see that...

Cavani could still be available and would be a welcome addition, but he's on big wages.

Ibra isn't exactly young and would want huge wages. The kind of huge wages we won't pay, and if we did give him massive wages what would our other top earners want next contract renewal?

Lacazette impressed in a weaker quality league and really hasn't shown enough quality to justify the kind of price tags being thrown around.

Carvalho as you said is now injured, and as the Eds have mentioned he remains a target we could possibly pursue in January.

Krychowiak would of been nice, shame he's ruled himself out but who knows if he'll change his mind/angling for bigger wages.

Romagnoli was rather inexperienced at the highest level and went for a big fee. We've already got 2 young(ish) CBs in Gabriel and Chambers.

Vidal, again would of been great but not really a DM and we're inundated with CM/CAM players. He was probably being pursued as a replacement for Cazorla if he has decided to move back to Spain.

Khedira is injury prone and was demanding big wages/signing on bonus. Not really worth the gamble IMO.

Mandzukic. Not really the world class striker fans have been calling for. He's basically Giroud without salon styled hair.

Dybala is young and still learning, we need someone good enough to replace Giroud not just compete with him.

Schweinsteiger is massively injury prone, he's the wrong side of 30 and he's on big wages. Also where would he fit in?

Otamendi is good but would you really want to get into a bidding war with man city?

We've still got a few days before the window closes and there's hope (blind hope maybe) that we'll sign the superstar we all crave.

Mandzukic has a more aggressive streak and is a winner. In upgrade for me
