Apparently, this is the sticking point.

Leicester have offered Vardy a big pay rise and a 4 year contract (in total, eg an extension to his existing contract) .

Arsenal have offered more money but only a 3 year contract.

Financially, our 3 year contract matches their 4 years.

Basically, Vardy wants us to offer him 4 years.

i like the guy as a player but i think he is from the same cloth as JT. and yes i don't get wilshere either. its fine to have passion, but to act like a bloody mug is beyond me.

Or maybe he feels loyalty to the club that made him the player he is.
He just helped get Leicester into the champs league as well as winning the league, surely the hearts saying stay.
