Hey gooners, question not meant to offend but just wanted to know why you guys think Arsenal won't seem to pay up for players and how does it make you all feel as Arsenal fans? Not sure the real cost of Mustafi or Lacazette but you'd think your club has the finance to just get these deals done. I know with my club throwing money around like confetti its way for me to say but it must be frustrating for you guys.

In Wenger we trust mate.
Trust that we might just scrape top 4.

Hope you ok matey.

Ps, I still think we will finish above you :-)

It's simple, we believe the market is way over inflated, which it is . It's God damn frustrating as a fan but what u going to do . The bubble will burst eventually and a couple of big teams will be whipped out . Then the super league will be created for teams who want to spend stupid money . Why do we even have youth set ups if no one is willing to use the players.

Once in a while, you have to bite the bullet.

A class Centre Half and Striker cost's money, but will help you to win things.

Winning things brings success.
Success brings extra revenue in sponsorship and global marketing etc.

The thing that really grinds me is that Wenger is an Economics graduate, yet he seems to have the least understanding of the transfer market of any manager in Europe. Every fan and his dog could predict that the market was going to end up this way, maybe even as early as Figo or Zidane moving to Real Madrid.

Clubs with money come in with obscene bids for the world's best players, destabilising the market and thereby increasing the perceived value of players of a similar class.

With clubs like Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Man United, in the fold with a constant flow of hideous amounts of wealth, the transfer market will always be as unstable and unpredictable as it is now, even if Abaramovic and City's oil men get bored and decide to do one. Wenger, with his degree/ masters in economics can't see this, yet a music college drop-out can.

I'm good thanks Dags and hope you are too. Well you've a terrible habit of making top 4 no matter what, shocking ha. I have read the meltdowns on here ha, transfer fees are ridiculous just to me is frustrating if Mustafi is available and means paying an extra few million over odds then in this day and age you got to do it, a club like Arsenal will make it back, I admire the principles behind if from Arsene I guess but move with the times isn't it.
Wenger leaving next summer?

Absolutely spot on Welsh.

I don't want Wenger to leave.

But, if he has to leave to maintain progress, so be it.
