Like Ian Wright a mentioned on 5 live yesterday we big changes from top to bottom, we need more fire, passion and direction from the board and owners to the manager and coaches and then onto the players. Arsenal are a big club and should not be accepting such mediocrity, let face it we will continue on a slow painful decline to being a mid-table team unless things change soon.

Wenger and the players have become far too comfortable as there is no pressure from above and this breeds complacency that is evident throughout. Wenger has become blinded by his own stubbornness and can't accept the fact that we are in decline and remains far to loyal to far too many players that have just not delivered.

Sorry but there are too many players that are just not good enough and if it were not for Sanchez we would be mid table let's be honest. We have no chance of getting Sanchez to re-sign another contact we will just have to make the most of him next season which will be his last.

You have to look at the squad and say none of these players would get anywhere near the 1st team of Chelsea, City, Utd or even Spurs:- Walcott, Ramsey, Ox, Gibbs, Giroud, Wellbeck, Perez, Gabriel, Metasaker, Jenkinson, Dubuchy, Bellerin, Coquelin. and Iwobi

That's like half the whole squad and tells you everything really these players are mid table standard if you ask me.

I give Xakha the benefit of the doubt as still first season but has done little so far to suggest he is not part of the list above, not really seen enough of Elneny to form a fair assessment although to me he offers more than Coq or Xakha he should be playing more in my book.

Then you have Cazorla one of our few class players but is injury prone now then bringing us onto Wilshere you wonder if he will ever stay fit long enough to have any sort of football career.

The enigma who is Ozil, has the talent but coast through games with little effect if only he had the same verve and energy of Sanchez. He is a luxury player that can make a difference in that odd moment of class but I am not sure we can afford to carry such a player when most of the rest of the squad are not up to it

I think Mustafi is decent enough and Holding looks to have promising potential but the defence is largely reliant on Kos who is coming to the twilight of his career and seem to be picking up more niggles of late.

We have got two decent keepers at least now but I can't really see Ospina staying to be number 2 tbh.

So massive overhaul is really needed. We need above all change at the top with new owners that want Arsenal to be top club again and not just a money making machine and new manager with a bit of fire in his belly and a fresh and positive outlook.

Excellent post Ryan. Totally agree. I also find it staggering that when interviewed after the first three at the back formation, the players acknowledged how difficult it was to adapt. This to me confirms that Wenger has no plan B and begs the question what an earth has been going on at the training ground for all these years. Surely in addition to working on fitness and conditioning they should be working on and perfecting tactics and formations so they can adapt accordingly rather than smiling for the cameras. Mind you if I were paid tens of thousands of pounds each week for under performing then I'd be smiling! Essentially we have a bunch of overrated and overpaid premadonas, a manager with out of date methods who is passed his sell by date and a need for a complete overhaul of the club's governance arrangements.

Yes Lincsgooner basically the player's need a rocket up their ass as they have had far too easy from Wenger for far too long. The pay structure needs ripping as it rewards players for medoricity how Walcott justifies his 130k Per week is beyond me.

Totally agree Ryan we pay far to much to players who have achieved far to little to warrant the massive salaries we give away for nothing.
Then of course there is the contract extensions we give for absolutely no apparent reason to players like Artetta Rosicky Flamini and now Mertesacker but we refuse to pay big wages to perspective signings who have achieved far more than our existing over paid under achieving players get for mediocrity.
It's absolutely crazy way of running a football club.
