So Arsene tells the board to ignore the fans opinions and to concentrate on the facts when considering offering him a new deal. Good riddance is what I say but what would that matter.

Some Arsenal fans are never satisfied, yes I like many other Arsenal fans get frustrated by Wenger, but in the cold light of day, he is a superb manager having brought new training facillities, a new stadium, 3 league tiles, 7 FA Cups, CL qualification (with the exception of this season - narrowly missing out) , 6 Community shields, a CL final, world class players attracted to the club and much more. Indeed, 3 trophies in the last four seasons is no mean feat when competing against some of the wealthiest clubs in world football. I hope Wenger remains at the club for at least 2 more seasons and that fellow gooners gert behind him.

I don't see who him signing a new deal helps us or himself. he's forgotten what's been a let down season. Finished second year before was supposed to push us on failed. The cups great take it and walk.

But isn't it the fans opinions that matter? The man is a dictator.

No the fans don't matter and that has fuelled the fire.

{Ed002's Note - He is absolutely right if he has said that - the fans have turned toxic like those of other clubs before them. It is extremely embarrassing. However, the board will have already decided that the fans are not worth the grief.}
