welcome lacazette. finally good signing.

1.) 28 Jun 2017 09:46:27
Source? I can only see it's not looking likely.

2.) 28 Jun 2017 13:32:05
Jean-Michel Aulas has stated this morning that Lacazette will probably stay and a deal with Athletico in January is still possible.

He's a media hungry geezer anyway but i don't see this happening. Maybe Derbygooner found a good source but i certainly cant.

05 Apr 2016 20:31:48
Renato for benfica keeps impressing me. Looks like a hyrid of edgar Davids and seedorf. Likely going to man utd but wow only 18. Real talent.

04 Mar 2016 07:11:21
Clear out rumours at real Madrid. Toni kroos anyone? Plays as a DM for them. Not his position in my eyes. Perfect as a cm.

Isco and James rod also available if reports are correct. Which one would people take.

1.) 04 Mar 2016 11:49:28
All 3.

2.) 04 Mar 2016 14:01:00
Would definitely go for Kroos, a world cup winner and decent player, can't believe they would sell him though. Isco is a great player but i feel we have enough very small skillful players at the club, James would be a great signing though.

3.) 04 Mar 2016 23:37:55
Kroos would be perfect in CM with Coq

Would still like Vidal.

4.) 05 Mar 2016 18:47:51
Forward Paolo Dybala
CDM Kante
Right Winger Mahrez
CB Any one of Laporte/ Rugani/ Stones.

Buy any two players out of these, we'd do fine next season IMO.

05 Feb 2016 22:32:26
José in then. I think he will do well.

1.) 06 Feb 2016 18:35:06
Would love to be a footy manager.

One highly paid job after another after another, even if you do crap.

{Ed025's Note - funny that...i was talking to pellegrini and he said he wanted to be a driving instructor for the same reasons.. :)

2.) 06 Feb 2016 22:09:38
Ed, my job is fraught with danger.

Not really :-)

11 Dec 2015 10:19:23
apparently we are looking at one or two players and looking to get them in early. it doesn't say who tho.

1.) 11 Dec 2015 21:20:53
Its so obviously Benzema and Higuain Derby! two men of many medicals but phew autographs.

lemar close to being done i'm told then great signing and won't be the last. good times.

1.) 12 Jul 2017 17:33:38
I will give you your due Derby mate you declared Lacasette a done deal two weeks before even Arsene know it was :-) so we can only hope your on a roll Geeza.
I just hope people listen to you this time and don't give you the thumbs rush :-)

2.) 12 Jul 2017 18:05:00
Thumbs up from me derby.

3.) 12 Jul 2017 18:42:09

4.) 12 Jul 2017 19:48:57
It's a thumbing old game :-)

5.) 12 Jul 2017 20:17:35
Its just clicked derby, your avatar is taking the p1zz mate. lol.

6.) 12 Jul 2017 22:40:54
the avatar is the guy I have wanted in since day one. no top4 has shaken the club in a good way I feel tho. looking forward to the new season for once.

12 Jun 2017 17:25:22
RSharpe. only just seen your reply on sanchez and its way down the list now. he played many games at Barcelona he was a starter and his stats are impressive mate.
juventus wanted him but luckily he got there first.

1.) 12 Jun 2017 21:14:51
Derby, I can only go off the stats I can actually find. Have a look for yourself:

2.) 12 Jun 2017 22:56:03
not sure what i'm supposed to see? he's not exactly been an arda turan.

3.) 13 Jun 2017 18:49:38
Pretty simple really Derby; I'm suggesting that Sanchez' move away from Barcelona brought him out of obscurity. If that wasn't the case, he would have featured for them a lot more than he did and they wouldn't have sold him.

Trying to compare circumstances with Turan is like trying to compare your fist to a sledgehammer. There are similarities in so much as they can both be used to hit things.

You're saying it isn't about the money, that the lad simply wants to win things. Hello! He left Barca, a club that are serial winners, to join Arsenal, a club that hadn't won the league in a decade. Unless he wasn't aware of this little thing called the internet, he would have known this.

So, I'm confidently going to assume that he wants a move because he wants more money. And he's able to command more money because of the opportunity afforded him by Arsenal.

Again, this is simply MY opinion.

20 Mar 2017 17:20:55
Id love to see wenger elsewhere and see if the change actually gives him a new lease of life. I think he'll be surprised and maybe think he stayed here too long. If I was him take a year out for tv work then take the France job.

1.) 20 Mar 2017 17:58:54
Good post derby, i really don't understand why he wouldn't want to do something else.

2.) 20 Mar 2017 18:20:11
I hope so Derby mate, i firstly want what's best for Arsenal and secondly for all to work out really well for Arsene too.

3.) 20 Mar 2017 19:16:47
Agree with you mate.
If Arsene came out and said I'm leaving at the end of this season, I would wish him all the best, and move on
But I can't condone what a few mindless bullies are doing. Im sorry but they are a disgrace.

4.) 20 Mar 2017 20:08:38
At least we agree on wishing Arsene all the very best in whatever he does Welsh mate, i don't think Arsene staying is at all in Arsenals best interest but i like the man and wish only good things for him personally.

5.) 20 Mar 2017 21:06:06
I have said before I would love Arsene to go elsewhere for a couple of years until he is happy he has got management out of his system. He should then come back to his rightful home as either director of football or as a board member.

20 Apr 2016 08:47:06
watched the Ronaldo film last night. anyone seen it. i enjoyed it. it can be lonely at the top.

1.) 20 Apr 2016 16:27:57
Not yet, but might give it a watch mate.

19 Apr 2016 08:38:08
i remember reading on this page people saying lukaku has a better all round game than kane. i questioned myself and wondered if my scouting days were over and if my eyes were gone and i was watching the same games. :)

1.) 19 Apr 2016 19:15:04
I remember some clown making out he knew more than both ed01 and ed02 and causing the latter to leave our page.

I too couldn't believe my eyes and was thinking what an utter twassock.

Amazed he still comes back talking the same waffle as if nothing happened.

2.) 19 Apr 2016 21:03:23
To be fair to Derby, he was merely insinuating Wenger might extend his contract.

{Ed001's Note - It was repeated and constant attempts to belittle everything shared on here with his nonsense. That was just one of many times.}

3.) 19 Apr 2016 23:06:42
Stoner Is ed02 not ed01 twice?

4.) 20 Apr 2016 01:15:16
Dags as ed01 said, there was a lot more to it than that, we all know that football is an emotive sport and we all try to temper ourselves in relation to that when feelings run high.

It was simply ridiculous to dig them both out over something he clearly knew next to nothing about.

It has disappointed a lot of other posters that we no longer get the information that we did.

To be honest mate, albeit I'm not sure how much difference it would have made, but an apology wouldn't have gone amiss as opposed to bragging the other day that he got banned.

It's individuals needlessly ruining things for many others.

5.) 20 Apr 2016 08:13:21
Fair point Stoner.

6.) 20 Apr 2016 09:04:59
Firstly I think the thing that Derby has overlooked/ forgotten is that the Eds provide this service not only for free but also to provide information to the best of their knowledge for those who enjoy reading it and with that in mind it is of course totally disrespectful to question that information wether you agree with it or not.
When it comes to questions being answered by or articles posted by the Eds its rude to question that information no matter if you personally disagree with it, on the other hand if a poster puts up a post for general conversation and not aimed at any Ed and an Ed choses join in the conversation and offer their opinion (always very welcome by everyone I'm absolutely certain) then I see absolutely nothing wrong with disagreeing with an Ed on a matter of opinion.
IMO where Derby got it very wrong was to question the Eds knowledge and contacts not their personal opinion.
Derby is a really decent bloke who is a football fantasist who fancies himself as a scout, come manager come pundit and tips hundreds players each season for superstardom then congratulates himself way too much w the very few he gets right ( Kane) and conveniently forgets those who are less than successful ( Benteke Bony ect :-) but there is no mallace in the man just flawed distinction between the real world and the one he enjoys in his own head where he is a pundit and manager and super scout extraordinaire :-) .
Derby mate its irrelevant whether the Eds decide to start providing information again or not but you do owe them and the posters who's enjoyment has been spoilt by the offence your replys to the information from the Eds have caused mate.
It may make absolutely no difference wethger you apologies or not to the running of this page but it's absolutely the right thing to do mate regardless.
