I agree Sally, keep offering more and more money above your initial valuation is a fools game, a house worth 250,000 is still only worth its market value no matter how many potential buyers gazump each other and make the winner pay way above the going rate.

It would have been nice Banbury mate, but in reality he's a young lad with lots of potential but absolutely no premier league experience, would he have hit the ground running or possibly have needed a little time to settle? What if he struggled initially, MA would have been in an awful position and either back his 100m new player or bench him and revert back to what he had before he arrived.

Everyone is worried losing this lad might have cost us the title, maybe just maybe the complete opposite is true? We are doing brilliantly as we are and whoever we bring in is a gamble and the bigger the price tag the bigger the gamble and pressure, new singings can cost titles as well as win them for a club.

Hi Banbury I genuinely understand what you are saying mate but we are only half way through the window and we have lots of time to sign players yet mate, do you remember last summer when Spurs were signing players left right and centre early in the window and some Arsenal fans were going mad about us not signing anyone at all? It all came right by August, so let's give the club until February 1st before we judge this January window. History tells us those who run the club now days keep their transfer cards very close to their chest and we only get to hear about genuine signings just before they are done deals, let's let the fat lady sing ????????????????.
