Just a thought but…

I keep seeing us linked to mount. I rate him as a bang average player really, just does the basics. However he is best mates with Rice and would have some sort of a relationship with Jorginho from his time at Chelsea. Also heard that saka gets on really well with Rice and Mount.

I honestly feel that reason for our overachievement this season has stemmed from the togetherness of the squad.

All of a sudden I’m starting to think that signing Rice and Mount could be a stroke of genius. Two proven premier league midfielders added to our already good starting IX. They will also help each other settle in quickly.

Hello Dan mate, I like you don't rate Mount, but like you say he is best mates with Rice which could lead Rice to go to Utd if Mount was there.
Tbh I cannot see us paying in excess of 90 million for a player.

I think if we are looking to win the league over City, we will need a better standard of player than Mount compared to the players we've already got.

I agree with wire. Also, I'm on the fence with Rice. Mostly because I haven't seen much of him and 90+ million.

Get that Leicester boy, Ndidi. Much cheaper, and I think a better player under the right coach.

I am a big Mount fan, and I think in this Arsenal team he would absolutely flourish, he was very good at Derby in his loan season and defiantly worth his back-to-back Player of the Season awards at Chelsea and one of those was a Champions League winning season.

yes, he has gone off the boil this season, but just like we are saying the dressing room and environment have helped our players this season it can also have the opposite effect when the club has been through what Chelsea has been through for well over 18 months now.

Rice holding and picking a pass, Mount being the well-rounded player and workhorse that he is, and then Odegaard picking a pass through to the front men, I believe would be as good a midfield as anyone out there, and all 24 years old.

Mount is better than every single one of arsenal’s CM options except for Odeegard tho.
