Hi Eds and everyone else.

First post on this website, but long time reader. I have just read an article that says Arsenal only have around £50 million in total to spend this summer, and more than likely going to have to sell to generate the funds needed for more than one first-team player. I know we are expected to sell some players, but I remember last year a board member saying we could afford anyone apart from Messi or Ronaldo, so where has the money gone.

Can you shed any light on this story? (The story was done by an independent group who had no interest in football, but was reported by the Evening Standard, referencing their research) .

Hi cj I'm not sure what's going on with this story mate or who or why paid for this report in the first place.
We will just have to wait and see I guess mate.
