If dortmund agree to sell him and its a case of beating utds offer surely it has to be taken. we need a CB and there's no point just getting a good back up, if we want to be challenging we need someone whos going to push kos and mert. for me if we signed him it would excite me more than sanchez, it would be like wenger saying "ive got good CBs but I want the best" IMO he's up there with kompany and silva as one of the best in the world

12m for vermaelen and apparently another 8 to get hummels. No question for me. Kos, per and mads. As good as it gets at cb then.

Yep, I'm up for that. Although I'm amazed that we can get £12 for TV. Top fellow, but his form and fitness over the last 2 or 3 years has been pretty horrendous.
