This is a serious question to the Eds although it may not sound like one at first .
Who is really in charge at Arsenal would you say? .
We all come on here me included, get frustrated with the team blame Wenger
or blame the board or blame the lot of them all together. But at the end of the day like in any business somebody MUST be putting the brakes on for Arsenal to be so frustratingly stubborn when it comes to buying players that we so obviously need.
I'm really at a loss as to who to point the finger at now. Here's hoping you guys might have a bit of inside info that most of us are not party to.

{Ed025's Note - as far as i am aware lanesra arsene has never been refused money for a transfer, yes there was a bit of frugality when the stadium was being built but arsene still calls the shots so its down to him mate..

It would be strange for the club to continually come out and say the money is there if Arsene wants it to buy anyone but Ranaldo and Messi if this wasn't true.
Its difficult to think Arsene would continually be happy for the club to make such statements and then to be labeled stubborn and out of touch by the fans and media if the club weren't telling the truth.

Im in agreement with you mate. I just don't get it at all.
The board may aswell come out in a press conference and say
"Well we have been telling Arsene for ages that we have a pile of money to improve the squad but he just will not spend it! "

ED025 Then try and tell me this then.
What is it that we all seem to see that Wenger does not?
All joking aside now he is obviously a really intelligent man
and the manager of a massive club He obviously has great football intelligence otherwise he would not be there. Are we all imagining we need more quality players because i'm completely lost to try and understand his reasoning.

{Ed025's Note - he is very stubborn lanesra, add to that a bit of bloody mindedness and just a dash of egotism and there you have it, great manager who has lost his way a bit this season, but he will be gone by the end of next season so let him have his day in the sun i say mate..

And you all think life will be better after wenger?
If the right player is not available he doesn't waste money.
We are still in the league title race and people writing him off. I just don't get it.

I really don't believe we are anywhere near being in the hunt for the title I'm afraid, this team gives itself too many excuses to lose.
My real hope now is that Wenger or the board realise that he is just not the man for the job anymore, then bring someone in who will bring the hunger to win back to the squad.
