Yes and that Chelsea were run away champions too so much stronger than the current Chelsea but! Unfortunately this City are way way better than the 2017 City.

Still it's the fa cup and anything can happen, in the 2017 final we had to bring back Mertersacker who hadn't played all season because we were so short of defenders for the final and play the rookie Rob Holding next to him plus Ox at left wing back and we very deservedly beat overwhelming favourites Chelsea that day.

With the PL over and the CL delayed til August, City will be focusing on the FA cup. Their team is better than 2017, ours is worse. Empty stadium doesn't help either. Have we ever won against a Pep City team?
But, at least its the one cup our players should feel capable of winning. Mon the impossible dream!

Yeah 62 even though Costa scored, Holding had a great game and Per was magnificent. Shame Arsene didn't make it is bow out game.

Yes Sir Wenger Pep was City manager in that SF mate.
5 years ago despite already being well into our owm steady decline we were in better shape than both United and Liverpool were so let's hope next season we see some real genuine signs of an Arsenal turnaround too.

On a different subject, obviously Pep and Klopp are in that very special small band of elite managers is Nuno at Wolves a genuine candidate to join that elite band in the years ahead? Him and Wolves side show no signs of being a flash in the pan after 3 unbelievably brilliant seasons together especially if they make top 4 this season it would be an incredible achievement.

For me Arsene should have gone after beating Hull in 2014 TG mate, his poor decisions cost us the title that season after we were top on new years day.
Ramsey was injured and Giroud absolutely knackered by January and it was plain for everyone to see we needed some reinforcement to finish the job but Arsene brought in the already injured Kim Kslstrom on loan and we dropped from 1st to 6th place before a late rally saw us finally pip Everton for 4th, that was the season I finally accepted Arsene had lost his magic and was to longer capable of making the big decisions when necessary.
