Am I the only person who thinks partey is a far superior player to rice ?. I think he’s a good player and has leadership qualities but £100 million. Come on, surely you’d want to just spend that on a world class striker.

Your best ability is your availability love Partey but he’s got off the field issues that might be the real reason the club want to move him on.

Party been a god player no doubt but i think he is passing his peak powers now and with Rice you have someone coming into their peak years at 24 now. I would be to still keep Party mind even if we seal Rice and Lavia as with Xhaka almost certain to go too its just 2 in a 2 out so not really adding depth their are we, just getting younger models if you like. With just Jorginiho and Elneny as back up.

Yeah if the off field issues are true then best get rid.
But on paper for me Partey and Xhaka is a far superior midfield pairing than Rice and Lavia/ caicedo. Everyone talking like we’ll be getting this massive upgrade. I don’t see it. Potentially but not in the here and now. Hopefully I’m proved wrong.

From what I am reading, we shouldn't be sure about Rice .
