Guys just for the record, Giroud tweeted after the game that he was absolutely fine and we shouldn't worry, plus he's not missed any training, he will start tomorrow night, fear not! I see some people still not too sure. He's fit.

With so many injuries upon us, who thinks that free agent, Yossi Benayoun, would be a good short term signing? He was on loan at Arsenal a few years ago and made some good appearances in the midfield.

I like the bloke and think he would be a great signing for the likes of Norwich but for us? Think a mf of his age and quality deserves better than last resort desperation status he would be for us. Just my opinion but would be a waste of our money and his tallent

Agree0 Disagree0

Wasnt he at west ham on loan and they didn't take him on a free?

We have better youngsters who could do with getting a chance.

Looks like Giroud is a doubt for Wednesday, Theo better step up to the mark.

We need 10 points to go through this group.

saying that it won't be easy. winning our home games is a must, and winning against marseille away is the best chance of getting a result.

The way we play we will always create chances, and with the players we have, we should be fine.

Although I would not risk giroud for wednesday and rather play walcott, and see how the game goes, and if necessary bring giroud on.

Rambo, Flamini have the CDM position under control if not covered, we have vermaelen back, we will soon have Arteta back.

Gnabry wilshere and ozil to make up the middle with theo up front.

I think Giroud will be fit. If not I reckon we'd see Monreal or Gibbs as a winger and not Gnarby or Ryo.

i.e Walcott
Gibbs Ozil Jack
Flamini Rambo

Should play Rambo up top with his new found eye for goal!

The sooner we play Dortmund the better, they've been a liability at the back this season. As long as they don't peg us back with their full backs we will certainly create chances. I have a feeling it'll be one of them where we need them to begin playing so we can get between their lines, but I've watched all their games this season and they're doing what Man City have done. They're not sure what their best starting line up is and they're handing chances to their opponents at the back. They're as dangerous as any team but it's not totally clicking for them yet. They're weaker than last year put it that way. They might develop into a stronger side but as it stands right now, they lose to the team we played when Song created that amazing goal for RVP.

So long as players are fit, I would go as far as saying we could top the group. I don't think that's deluded. Napoli looked average, we just had a bad day at the Emirates Cup. Obv it's the champs league and everyone turns up for that but I am really not worried about our group at all, I think we're the most likely to top it based on how all 4 teams are currently playing. Exciting!

Don't agree with that at all metal. dortmund have been amazin' so far this season. In my opinion I reckon they look stronger, there defense looks a bit shaky as always, but up top they look immense. it's a young team on the rise and i'm not lookin forward to playin against a front line of lewandowski, reus, pierre-emerick (wateva his name is) and that armenian guy, ain't going to bother tryin to spell his name. They gave our old friend van der Vaart a pastin' last game.

@Jack Wolfskin

Don't get me wrong they're very strong! Especially going forward! But they're slightly less balanced than last year and the year before. In a way they are a mirror of us, on their day their attack will take anyone apart, but at the back, despite star quality etc, they're gifting people chances if you just get at them. Hummels is carrying the ball forward so much and they seem to mirror us in the sense that they are often chaotic and panicky at the back. I've no doubts they're going to develop so well, but right now I wouldn't be worried about playing them. In two months time I will be! But I've noticed that we seem to know who our best players are, whereas they don't, yet. P-EA is so dangerous but a couple of times this season he's missed loads of chances and they've brought Hoffman on who's changed the game. Mkhtaryan is doing very well but they lack the cohesiveness of the last two years and Reus hasn't even been starting every game either. So I'd be real confident playing them tonight, but not so in a few months.
