So let's say we sign Ochoa ( free ) Aurier ( 8m ) Lavezzi ( 25m ) Balotelli ( 25m ) Joel Campbell returns we would have the GK cover, new RB, attacking winger and plenty of quality up front but with only spending 58m, Can any of the eds see AW spending big 30+m on a DM to complete what we need?

25mil on kehdria? About as close to a hiding mid as wenger is likely to go for, then say, 5-10mil on a centre back or two

Hi Eds for a couple of weeks now well since I finally realised what everyone else already knew that you all did the Eds this for free ( I'm so thick at times I still amaze myself with it :-)
I've been thinking how can we set up a Eds Christmas drink fund where everyone can make a contribution of however much they wish and obviously afford around November time to be split equally amongst all you Ed's early December?
It would be nice if it could be done anomalously so no one need feel bad but I'm sure across all the pages a lot of people would like to do more than just say thanks once a year.
Even if it only amounts to enough to buy the Christmas turkey for each of you it would be nice to do it.
I'm sure a lot of people would like to but how could we go about it please?

I'm sure you don't need it Ed I wasn't suggesting that in a chatiy way, I wasn't thinking of holding a concert for you where Flybo sang or Dags told jokes or anything :-)
I just think a lot of people would like to chip in and buy you a pint or several in appreciation of all your efforts throughout the year.
We could get you all socks but unless your all part millipede there's a limit to how many pairs a bloke really needs, mind you I suppose if I had 52 pairs a year it would be an end to ever needing wash a pair again :-)

365 days they put with our silly questions jokes and moaning when things don't go as we wish and all for free? A medal would be more suitable but I've only got one of those for hoovering up while the wife did a double shift when 8 months pregnant with our 8th, well I like to do my bit as long as its noticed and appreciated.

If our transfer window does not open until the 1st of July. Can someone explain to me how Chelsea for example were able to sign Fabregas?
Now if the answer is he isn't officially signed till the 1st of July then what's the point of a transfer window.? Please explain.

Ed025.Thanks mate. So basically in laymans terms the rules of the transfer window are not worth a carrot. All it means is a player can't kick a ball for the team he signs for till after the 1st of July.?
Don't know why they bother with it really as you rightly said. The big clubs are steam rollering the system anyway so we may aswell have the transfer window open all year and be done with it.

{Ed025's Note - that sums it up just about right golds, its the same with FFP all these rules are made to protect the rich and keep the proper clubs in the poor house, its one of the reasons why the arsenal,s and everton,s of this world will find it almost impossible to win the prem, and find it increasingly difficult to even make the top 4 mate..

Ed025. Thinking about it. So why, if that's the case haven't we signed a pre contract with Balotelli if we are seriously interested. Or any other player come to that.

{Ed025's Note - there is no reason why not golds, but some agents and players will not be available to be contacted during the WC, not just because of the distraction, but because if they shine the price will inflate, which will see them blood sucking leeches called agents get even richer mate..

Speaking of FFP, how will Utd be able to spend this supposed £200m without going down the toilet?

Why Rooney, or anyone else for that matter, thinks he's a creative number 10 baffles me. He was a striker his whole career, until he was forced deeper by Van Persie.
