What makes you think that we'll get 5/6 in with one being 'marquee'?
Every year it's "big changes this summer" from all corners of the media, here too.
There is no precedent so what makes this year so different?
I'm not having a go here or calling you a liar in any way, I'm just curious with more than a pinch of jaded. I've heard this all too many times only for it to be departure after departure.

There has been a couple of reports that Benzema is considering his future at Madrid.
Is there any interest from Wenger still?
I don't know about anyone else but I would take Benzema over Jovetic or Falcao or anyone. {Ed027's Note - Benzema is'nt considering his futute, though Madrid are considering his, if they go and buy Falcao or Aguero, he'll leave, i think he will be too expensive for us

Don't know what Player to get on the back of my Arsenal shirt. I've shortlisted Wilshere, Koscielny and Cazorla. Do I wait til we potentially sign Jovetic or whoever this marquee signing people are optimistic will be arriving.
Although the last 5 players I've had have all left within 18-24 months. Campbell, Henry, Fabregas, Nasri and RVP. I think I'm cursed. Do I get a player who's just signed or should I get a Diaby shirt?

No matter what people say, I still highly rate Arteta. Just look at the difference of the team when he is not playing.

He's good but the fact that he is better than the alternatives in our squad doesn't mean he's good enough to be our main man. I certainly want him in the squad though but feel we should be aiming slightly higher for first team regulars (remember we had the chance to sign Alonso - that would have been nice)
Arteta - never been capped by Spain. Yes they have talent in the midfield, but he does not have the talent to be the main playmaker.

All transfers for, Arsenal, Chavski and the Spuds, are all dependant on who qualifies for the last two Champions League spots, so in effect the potenial signings will be watching the outcome before making decisions, its pretty much safe to say that its down to the current respective squads to help secure quality summer signings, maybe i'm wrong, but with agents and advizers all over there clients wages and endorsements, it seems that Champions League football and not newspaper reports will drive this next transfer window. Goetze vs Isco which one is better.
And yes I know the chances of us getting either of them is almost none.
Both are world class and there's no reason we couldn't recruit one.
We need big names and one marquee signing looks inevitable. one of these two would fit the bill.
More likely would be Isco, due to thir financial situation and our recent history. {Ed029's Note - I am told that there is no chance of Isco to Arsenal.}
I reckon we'd have more chance with Isco due to the fact that we have 2 of his former team-mates at out club now which would make the move a lot easier for him. Would love either of them though!
