A newspaper is reporting that Schalke has accepted 36 million for Draxler and he could be on his way? Anyone else reporting this?
1.) Heard loads of people saying it. But wenger said 'we have no need for new flanking players'. So I can't see it happening, if it does happen though, Akie is one happy Gooner
2.) It's in most of the papers this evening, and Jan Age Fjortoft has apparently tweeted that a fee has been agreed, but he's unsure as to whether it's going to happen this window or in the summer. He was the one who tweeted first about Ozil apparently. Who knows, we just live in hope!
3.) Ive got a sneaky feeling he's on his way but Aw wants to keep it hush hush fair enough AW saying we have wingers and wide players but he wants to transform draxler to a striker he's got something up his sleeve i'm sure of it plis what a signing he would be

Reports coming out today that Arsenal have made contact with Lyon for Alexandre Lacazette. No idea if an offer will be made, but this smells of a typical Wenger January signing.
1.) That would tie in perfectly for a Theo replacement - fingers crossed

Breaking.PSG just outbid us for Ozil.
1.) Only one person has said that where way to many news outlets have said he is to sign with arsenal even the bbc

"Arsenal have agreed a 50m euros deal with Real Madrid to sign Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil.
"The 24-year-old has agreed personal terms and will now undergo a medical.
"The medical will take place in Germany, where Ozil is on international duty."
3.) Where you hearing this? Because according to other sources the deal is virtually done with arsenal- medical due this afternoon.

Where the hell are these Torres rumours coming from? There is not one credible source reporting this.just stop people, please! There is a bit more substance in the Mata and Lamela stories, but more than likely they are dog pile as well.
1.) I totally agree NCG, I actually think that we could still do a lot worse than him for 20-25m, however I think Giroud has started great and will be a BIG player this season!

I'm telling you. keep an eye on Dzeko, he is surplus at Citeh, would be available for 25 to 30 million, and a typical Wenger signing.
1.) I'll watch. I prefer Suarez because Dzeko is the same build as Giroud but wouldn't mind have Dzeko. He's got great feet for a big man
2.) How is spending 25-30 mil a typical Wenger signing? Its exactly the opposite.
Also, he's too similar to Giroud (and I'm not convinced any better).

I can't shake this gut feeling that we will launch a bid for Dzeko.
1.) My gut says Torres after we fail with Suarez
2.) If all else fails it is a very good shout. he is good and proven in the epl

A very well connected friend of mine ( media ) has mentioned to me that he has heard that we are working on a deal for Keisuke Honda. I don't know if this is true or not?. just passing on the information.
1.) Hasn't he agreed to go to AC Milan?
2.) Very close to the end of his contract and wenger did praise him a few seasons back. Wouldn't mind him, but I think he's going to Milan

The statement of intent from the board and our new financial backing is showing the other clubs we are still a top European force.
All our rivals are going through periods of transition while we are probably at our most stable for a long time.

Wengerism. your posts are infuriating and quite symptomatic of what's currently going so wrong at Arsenal. You love Wenger more than you love your club! Anyone with half a brain of football acumen can see that in the last 3 transfer windows Wenger has handicapped our squad to the point that we have to struggle for 4th. No man is bigger than the crest, and Wenger has failed the crest for the last 8 years by not reinvesting in the squad. You don't have to spend wildly, but you do have to spend. and not spending has lead us to this moment of threadbare mediocrity! Stop defending the architect of our decline, and start supporting the club!
I have said all along that I think Dzeko will end up in an Arsenal jersey. Wenger wanted to sign him, but City out bid us. He would be deadly up front!
