Dont keep asking the same question day after day after day expecting a different answer to the one you got yesterday and the day before and the day before that.

Now now C S,

Just calling it as I see it.

I sort of know where the Eds are coming from.

As a Driving Instructor, it can be very annoying when a pupil makes the same mistake time and time and time again, even though you have explained it at least 50 times.

It can be annoying, and I'm well paid for doing it.
The Eds do this for nothing, so I can understand their annoyance.

Let's face who doesn't love it when their Misuss asks them the same question 3 o 4 times a day or tells them the same gossip repeatedly that wasn't even interesting the first time round and continues to keep you updated on its developments.
What man doesn't live for that

Eds, is there any truth in these Vidal rumours?

Eds I just went to look for your opinion on Dragovic. The last thing I found was you saying interest is likely gone. Is there any EPL club you see him playing for next season? I know he was linked to United as well. I'd love to see him at a big club and really think he could stand the test of time since I really rate him but as an Austrian ther is a lot of bias going on.
"Go ask on the United page" is a answer that will be appreciated as well, but if you can provide me with detail I'll be very happy
Thanks in advance and keep the good work up
Cheers

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - No, I don't see him in the EPL next season.}

28 Jun 2015 23:09:52
Thanks
Sad to hear that since it woud be great to see a different Austrian besides Alaba at a big club
Would be amazing for the rep of Austrian football
But thanks again Eds

No rumour,, We need to keep Jack.
End of

Vidal, yep would work well, but

If Jack is fit, we have the Gazza, England (and Arsenal oh yes) has been looking for: for twenty years.

Jack is in Dubai? FFS I hope I am not getting 5 from 2+2!
Arsene do not not cash on this jewel

In U we trust, I hope

Can the eds please enlighten me with any updates on the Cech deal. Being that the fee was agreed along with personal terms I assumed that as the medical was happening on Friday the deal would have been finalised and announced by now.

28 Jun 2015 14:02:09
Hi ed002, you mentioned earlier that Vidal may be involved in a swap deal. If Arsenal is to be his destination, any idea on which Gunner/s may be going the other way?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Go back and read what I wrote.}

28 Jun 2015 19:28:34
( Vidal will be moving and it will become clear where in the next couple of weeks, don't be surprised to see another player being involved in the deal)
I think that's what you said Ed002?

{Ed002's Note - I have said rather more than that, but no more. Most has now been deleted due to the repeated questions.}

Dont suppose they'd take Poldolski :-)

july is nearly upon us, and the craziest stretch of the rumour season too, so a big shout out to the eds and to my fellow posters to respect the eds and have a chilled out transfer window.

to get the ball rolling i have heard we are signing harry kane to be our mascot, he is a die hard gooner and he would do any job just to get back to the emirates.

See and hear a lot of fans questioning the signing of Arturo Vidal.

Although he is 28, slightly injury prone and probably best as a box to box midfielder (which we have many of). He would still be a fantastic signing and one we should all be drooling over for many reasons he he is to come.

1. He is an excellent player with tenacity and a fantastic engine & work-rate

2. Just like Ozil & Sanchez. But maybe even more so than both. Vidal is a player that is respected by all - almost a cult player. Imagine the boost to the squad having a player like him will have on others......How much would Coquelin love to learn from Arturo Vidal!

3. Even the fact we are in for him and he is interested in joining us and how we have supposedly signed Cech also. It just cements the fact that the mighty Gooners are well and truly back to mix it with the very best.

The glory days are near!

P.S. Just wanted to mention also how excited I am to see more of Gabriel Paulista this season!

Great points mate, I am one of the fans who questioned the Vidal signing not because I don't think he's good, his talent is not questionable he's great and he's an engine. The only reason I questioned it is because I wanted a cdm not a box to box midfielder I would of liked Wanyama. But guess what boys, i'm not the manager, in the space of 3 hours my outlook has changed on Vidal because a box to box with his work rate would be brilliant. Maybe I should put some more thoughts into my opinions ey?

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2015 16:52:40
i think he will be a brilliant signing. although schneiderlin is younger an may go on to be better, right now vidal is the finished product so would suit the team better. we need that balance of experience and youth and adding vidal will give us that.

vidal and cech...may not be 100 million pound signings but id be very happy if that was our summer, and by the looks of it may just be. not sure the type of striker we need is out there and available for a decent price..

28 Jun 2015 18:41:31
Vidal would be an awful fit for Arsenal. I mean, have you seen his hair?

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2015 21:54:22
I think were moving out of the hair years now NE and into a whole new era of Arsene the work rate years.
Just having a good Barnet is no longer a guarantee of a contract or team selection, it will be strange for a while but we'll get used to it I'm sure.

Gonna get slated for saying this I reckon, I don't want arsenal to sign Vidal.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

28 Jun 2015 14:59:38
Evereyone has there prefrece some wanted Spyder others wanted kongdogbia I wanted gundagon/illarmendi or javi Martinez any 1 of those but Vidal will give 100% and is really competitive maybe he would b a good fit

Agree2 Disagree1

28 Jun 2015 15:23:02
I 100% agree with you, but I do not believe vidal is a cdm that is the only reason I don't want him, I want a proper cdm like spyder,Carvallho and Wanyama, if we didn't have Ozil Id be over the moon with the Vidal link, obviously if we do sign him he'll have my full support but I just think we should Persue another path and go for Wanyama type cdm. But like you said mate, everyone has a preference!

Agree3 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Schneiderlin is not a DM either. Wanyama plays as the DM, not Schneiderlin.}

28 Jun 2015 15:48:54
well for me vidal is the player i have been most excited about us being linked with throughout the entire window, he's the signing i really wanted to see happen. such a quality player and will along with cech make us tittle contenders for sure, he has a fantastic winning mentality and will add so much steal and grit to our midfield. a midfield of the coq vidal and ramsey is as good as it gets and has just about everything

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2015 16:08:23
Maybe a 433 with coq& Vidal would work really well.

28 Jun 2015 16:24:40

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Jun 2015 17:14:43
To be fair Rooster all players have poor games and sometimes it's when they'd least want it too happen.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Jun 2015 17:15:40
A midfield of Coq Vidal and Ramsey is fantastic but missing its most important cog....called cazorla...if Coq is undroppable how come caz is, based on oLast seasons performances? Vidal is a great player, but we already can't fit wilshire, Ramsey and caz in the same team, and playing 4-3-3 means Ozil out wide, which we mostly agree is not using him in his best position. So why would Wenger give himself more selection headaches by signing Vidal (who wouldn't sign unless given assurances on playing surely?)

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Jun 2015 18:20:42
honestly i think ozil has to play in the wide right position he was bad on the wing early in the season because wenger had him on the left but on the right he can cut in on his left foot and create. in the middle ozil does not offer enough on the defensive side and enough physicality for me. although i agree with you cazorla was amazing last season i feel as though the midfield three i mentioned has a greater balance and physicality as well as more goal and i can honestly see cazorla tailing off next season unfortunately.
