Ed's, do you know of any interest I Gary Medel for the DM role, with Cardiff likely to be relegated he seems like a good option, especially as he can provide cover at RB as that's where he plays for chile?

{Ed002's Note - Nope.}

I'll make a prediction now that arsenal will go all season without picking up a win against swansea, everton, spurs, liverpool, city, utd, chavs or southampton.
Flat track bullies at best. What a awfull arsenal side.
We are going backwards.

Scrolling through yesterdays posts I came across one questioning wether the media bias against us will remain now we have a good core of english/ brittish players.
Having a look on s website I see that adrian durham of all people has paid tribute to us on the daily arsenal for our growing core of brit talent!
Knowing him though he probably takin the mickey

Who would everyone rather see given a chance at cf for us?
Wellbeck, podolski or campbell?

readinggooner

1.) Campbell is off tonight mate

2.) I think Campbell deserves his chance.
Really disappointed if we sign Wellbeck he really isn't a huge improvement on what we already have on the bench, just proves Wenger to be a liar again

3.) 01 Sep 2014 21:52:38
Welbeck

4.) Welbeck. Then Ozil in the middle, and Sanchez and Ox either side, with Ramsey and Flamini playing in deeper roles.

or something along those lines.
Fair play to you edoo2
This signing is a real statement of intent and will restore faith in all of Arsene's doubters.
Hopefully next stop will be a world class DM

Ed002 is a top man and has strong connections with the football world.

Trust me, if 002 says it will happen, than it will.

2.) I don't think ed002 ever says anything will happen, does he? One of his rules of edclub

{Ed025's Note - ED02 is the dogs nuts CS, he has fingers in more pies than jack horner mate...out of all the EDS he is the most respected because of his contacts and association with all the top clubs..

3.) No no. I mean he refuses to answer questions that say things will definitely happen . Like he refuses to talk about money or doesn't speak about possibility. It was a joke rather than a dig.

Dm or not, the guys tackling stats over the last 5 seasons take some beating. More tackles per game than bender, khedira or schneiderlin. (Not to mention his work rate)
I think he is just the sort of player we need, will strengthen the lack of spine we are always criticised for.

We needed a cb and holding midfielder, and we get a utd cast-off.
Ambition? I feel sick.

It may just be a case that vardy wants to come and the deal is being finalised, but won't be revealed as a gunner till after the euros, to prevent any distractions, especially if vardys wife is getting abuse on twitter about the deal.
The media claim he's torn but we don't know for a fact that that is the case, he might be over the moon lads.

To be fair if spurs do win it this year, for arsenal fans it will be no more than what spurs fans have had to endure for years, watching us constantly finishing above them and being more successfull.
What goes around comes around i guess, so we will have to take it on the chin, painfull as that may be.
If they do win it it will be on there own merit, not because we didn't stop them or because of luck.
There manager has forced them to evolve, where as ours stagnates.
All that being said, i still think leicester will win it and they deserve to.
