Great result at the weekend - great to see super sub Giroud bagging a few goals plus Rambo returning
Shame about Perez injury.
Interesting comments from AW about 442. I like 442 but I am not sure if that gets the best out of Ozil who benefits from speedy front 3 who have plenty movement. Not sure I want him CM or on wing. don't believe we have the right wingers for 442 also,
Happy to have 442 as back up but not our starting formation.

I think what where doing right now is working really well, I'm really up for us to be able to adapt on days where plan A isn't working as that's something we've all wanted for years and we should also have alternative systems for when injuries dictate it as playing exactly the same style with Olly up top alone as when Sanchez plays there is would be crazy.
Obviously the 442 idea comes from France in Euros with the Olly and Griezmann partnership but I don't remember a manager who chopped and change systems and players regually winning any titles infact Benitez at Liverpool and Raneiri at Chelsea probably cost their clubs titles by too much chopping and changing.

Sanchez does far more for this team as a lone striker than any player in the squad could. It works only because of his fantastic work ethic and not necause he is a natural lone striker. Giroud is like a statue compared to sanchez and is only a super sub value now. I think there will be games where sanchez will be ineffective but i'm afraid giroud is not a replacement, whether welbeck could be is yet to be seen. Wenger will not mess about with formations but it wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't try giroud up top and sanchez left. For me a big mistake but that is only my opinion.

Steve got to agree about Alexis up top really makes us tick. I have to hold my hands out and even tho i suggested playing him up top i said it wouldn't work. I was clearly wrong.
Guess Also we will soon see if arsene has changed that irritating loyalty stance when he either plays or does not post giroud.
{Ed041's Note - hes that good I think he could play anywhere myself.

D he is nearly impossible to stop when he is on top form and while I love the guy, I still think we need a new striker. As a stop gap he's doing miracles but there are times his team mates don't have a clue what he is going to do or be.
