Any football association that hires Hodgson and Southgate as managers deserves to be successfully sued. Because of the wretched FA we missed out on seeng Brian Clough, Harry Redknapp and Sam Allardyce manage England and instead had a combination of 'yes' men and foreign coaches manage the national team. Other than the great Sir Alf, before my time, the best managers I recall were Terry Venables and Bobby Robson. It's been ages since we have had top English managers such as this pair who managed at top clubs overseas. The FA needs to be disbanded and reformed properly. Sanago, I know that you have extreme difficulty in reading more than a sentence, but criticising Allardyce when you endorse Dyche as a potential Arsenal and no doubt national manager beggars belief, as they both set teams out well, but are hardly innovative top notch managers, sought after by the top clubs.

Sir Bobby served his country with outstanding distinction, he may not have always got things right but he never put the cart before the horse, for Bobby Robson the job was an honour to to have and he did a brilliant job despite having to take on our own media who personally attacked him prior to and during every tournament we played and ran complelty false stories about the players in order to unsettle the squad so they could write yet another vile headline about the manager.
Even some members of our own FA were hoping we'd lose to Germany in the Italia 90 SF Because they feared not being able to get of Bobby should he bring home the world cup, how absolutely perfectic is that?
After all he had been subjected to by the media and his own FA bosses what was Bobby's reaction to losing his job
" I am extremely honoured to have been able to serve my country and if ever my country should call again I would not hesitate to answer that call "
Great manager, lovely man.
How English international football could with finding another Sir Bobby Robson.
