ANDY GRAY. Can somebody answer this question. Am I imagining things or would I be right in saying that ANDY GRAY has never had a good word to say about Arsenal. It seems to me that everything he had to comment on Arsenal he is always finding fault. Honest answers only please.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Didn't realise he was still about, though he was in hiding

Agree0 Disagree0

I completely agree. On NBC, there have been plenty anti-Arsenal comments made by commentators. Even in the last game, one of the commentators (I forget who it was) talked about how Arsenal aren't a "top team." He said something like "Top teams don't do [this]. ", referring to us allowing Liverpool a couple scoring chances at the end of the game

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Ray Wilkins is worse. He's so far up Chelsea's arse you would need an AA recovery van to pull him out.

Liverpool fan in peace. I was wrong to say that Arsenal aren't genuine title contenders on the United forum. Maybe I was so disappointed with our midfield that I was being a foolish moron. Again my sincere apologies to Dagenhamred and anyone who posted on that wall. I look forward to the rematch where hopefully we can get an actual midfield that can challenge yours and support SAS. Well done Koscielny, Mertesacker, Ramsey, Cazorla and Arteta. Again, good luck with your title aims! Let's join to watch United struggle against Sociedad

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Total respect to you Zaki, it was a big game and you had every right to have high hopes for it.
It takes real guts to come on here and say sorry for an over reaction to your disappointment, Its something we are capable of doing and I hope I show the same Bootle when its my turn.

Good luck mate and thank you

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Zaki, fair play to you my friend. we all sometimes say things in the heat of the moment, but to apologise after the dust has settled takes some guts. Fair play to you mate

Agree0 Disagree0

ZAKI. That was very sporting mate well done.

Manchester United look anemic create so few chances compared to what they used to I am looking forward to payback!!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We are all more confident than for years but we mustn't get over confident, they are still a good side even if not what we are use to them being.
For the first time in longer than I are to remember we play them without fear but full of REAL belief and at the very least equals.

They will want to silence their critics and burst our bubble but the question is are they up to it? Are they, are you they really

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes they did look very lethargic but you can never underestimate them. Any team with Rooney, RVP, Chicarito and Jananuz(spelling) should never be taken too lightly, so I think we will only win by 5-0 (smiles)

I wonder what Spanish League players are casting envious glances at Ozil/Arsenal and thinking I should move - I could have that impact.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Good thinking sammy03.

I am sure it won't just be Spaniards. a few Germans and maybe the odd Brazilian too

Agree0 Disagree0

Khadiera for one, by some accounts.

I think people are underestimating how good theo is going to be for us when he gets back. Means ozil can go back to the centre off the front, and walcott back on the right.

I can't remember which game it was, but when ozil and walcott played together ozil put walcott through numerous times, when walcott gets his shooting boots on he will be lethal.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Think it was Sunderland. If Walcott had his finishing boots on ozil could have had 5 assists on his debut

Agree0 Disagree0

I`d like to have some of what you are smoking! Walcott has never had his shooting boots on most of his goals are scuffed efforts, he can't cross a ball doesn't have the football brain to see others in bettter scoring positions but can run fast as hell in a straight line. So why not use this to our advantage and use him in as a impact player, when most teams will be running out of steam. Rotate him with Risicky or the Ox or even Garnby. Praise where praise is due.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think that's a bit harsh, he is much better than he used to be. Form is the main thing, and coming back from injury and regaining a spot, is not easy. unless you are gifted with god given talent like Ozil, wilshere, Caz, Rosicky.

Ramsey worked his boots off to be where he is and giroud, koser and per did the same. Even Sagna worked himself into a better player to what he was last year.

We are playing well, doing well, and pending the dortmund game I think we need to do well to go forward.

i would take a draw with Manchester United to play on sunday. then its international week, and with the likes of Ozil, Caz, already qualified, and much needed rest for our thin squad for the likes of Arteta, Flamini, Rosicky, along with per and jenks.

lets hope we can actually enjoy the time off, and when they are all back. get kicking into high gear and move ahead into a even more difficult december.

Agree0 Disagree0

Simply have to disagree Smilertee.

Theo doesn't have the touch yet but he can shoot and can also see a pass - his crossing does need to improve as well as his power though

Agree0 Disagree0

Really smilertree? theo was great last season. "scuffed efforts"? what, all 14 of them? sure, he has taken a few seasons to settle in but imo he is one of the best wingers in the country and a real team player

Agree0 Disagree0

Whatever you think of Walcott, you would`nt drop any of Ozil, Cazorla or Rosicky the way they`re playing at the moment unless you rest Olly and put him up front.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair shout Brentwood but I wouldn't play Theo upfront just yet, so soon after his injury lay-off. I think if he does play it will be as sub, probably coming on for Rosicky, who is playing out of his skin at the moment.

Agree0 Disagree0

True, it's going to take time for Theo to get back into the starting 11. And he is going to have to fight for it without a doubt. I think he should start making coming a comeback as a striker as this requires considerably less running than on the wing. Also, he never has been one to really support Sagna with tracking back. So he should get some game time up front till his fitness is up

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok so please let me try and exonerate myself I think Theo is a really good player, but one to fill a starting line up I see him more as an impact player and yes with his scoring ability be it scuffed or not then we would be thankful of this contribution especially late on in big games. At the moment he needs to be on top of his game to regain a starting place and that really applies to all the midfielders we have definitely got class in these positions now all we need in the next transfer window is a forward to rotate or play along side Giroud who is growing in confidence and as a player and good luck tonight boys.

Agree0 Disagree0

THATS MORE LIKE IT SMILERTREE LOL

So Arsene isn't going to hold contract talks until we Qualify out of our CL group?

Preliminary talks should be well under way come Thursday morning then.

Can't wait {Ed002's Note - The talks won't simply be about the management role - there are other considerations as well. Without getting in to any detail, he is also aware of other options he might have come next summer.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The only serious option I think his heart would let him take would be to manage his country.
That would be awful just as the fruits of his work are beginning bloom.
Obviously it could mean a move up stairs or even Real or PSG, which ever I would be sad and numb for months if any of them happens.

But to be honest I would respect his wishes totally no matter what he chose to do.
Its been talked about even wanted by some but, Arsenal without Arsene? The reality would hurt very much just imagining it does already

Agree0 Disagree0

Perhaps winning the EPL will help him make an easier decision to leave arsenal. taking them back to the top.

we are severely short on world class talent, compared to the likes of Madrid, Bayern, Barcelona.

A striker, CDM someone like Benzema and Pogba would give us the armour to compete on multiple fronts.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said G62
