Eds. A few reports today are hinting of a move on Jack being targeted by Barcelona even though he has just signed a five year contract. Do you think this could be a goer? {Ed002's Note - I think it is speculation right now, but Barcelona are looking to bringing through the next generation and interest would not be a surprise.}

GOLD

1.) This is such a rubbish rumour that it makes me laugh instead of worry. Wilshere has said himself he is a one club man. He's Arsenal through and through and I doubt that even Barca could tempt him away. {Ed002's Note - You need to realise that other clubs can be interested in Arsenal players as well as Arsenal being interested in players of other clubs.}

2.) Well said Ed002.

I find the interest great, and I really do believe our days of purging our assets is coming to a close. let barcelona be INTERESTED, I don't think it will come to fruition, especially with Jack.

3.) Is this the same Barcelona who's manager (Sep G) at the time said that JW10 was not any sort of special player- Barcelonas youth team had plenty better than him.

4.) Not convinced by jack yet but he's young and has potential, so I think its a tough one as to whether we should sell if any substantial offer where to come in

There's a whisper that Alex Song may be on his way back. What do you reckon Eds.? {Ed044's Note - Would Arsenal want him?}

GOLD

1.) I'd say we'd want him if he was cheap enough. Arteta, Rosicky and (even Flamini) aren't that young so might need replacing at some point. He can cover CB too. At the same time I'm not that fussed and would rather someone younger with more potential (Lars Bender?)

2.) @ED44 hell no let Barca keep the rat! Or he can join his buddy Van Pu**y at Man Utd. :) {Ed044's Note - Puffy?}

3.) Arsene gave Flamini a way back (act of genius my back side, that rat shouldn't be playing for us), so why not Song and Van Puffy?

Why draw a line when Arsene "The God" W doesn't seem to care?

4.) There isn't a lot of loyalty in football and i'd rather we didn't sign song because of his quality instead if making a decisions based on 'loyalty'

5.) 10 Oct 2013 08:28:49
to be honest we don't really need him.

6.) Ashish, Will you still be saying the same of Flamini when/if his signing is intrumental in winning a trophy or three? Looks an inspired move to me.

ANDY GRAY. Can somebody answer this question. Am I imagining things or would I be right in saying that ANDY GRAY has never had a good word to say about Arsenal. It seems to me that everything he had to comment on Arsenal he is always finding fault. Honest answers only please.

GOLD

1.) Didn't realise he was still about, though he was in hiding

2.) I completely agree. On NBC, there have been plenty anti-Arsenal comments made by commentators. Even in the last game, one of the commentators (I forget who it was) talked about how Arsenal aren't a "top team." He said something like "Top teams don't do [this]. ", referring to us allowing Liverpool a couple scoring chances at the end of the game

3.) I think Ray Wilkins is worse. He's so far up Chelsea's arse you would need an AA recovery van to pull him out.

I am interested to know what other people's feelings and views are on Jacks ongoing injury problems are. He has had ongoing problems for over 18 months now and personally I hate saying this but I can't see it ending anytime soon even Wenger has come out and said that basically they are at a loss with it all at the moment. If we were not all so passionate about Jack would we all be thinking cash in while we can? Or is our heart ruling our head here?

GOLD

1.) Jack will be fantastic in the run in mate, I just think he is trying to hard to be what all want him to be at the moment.

Aaron said last year how much he was looking forward to playing a long side him in MF when he was fit and we all thought Aaron wouldn't get the chance once all were fit.

Well 12 months on and Ramsey is the star of the show and all the questions are being asked about Jack now, got to be hard for the lad who has always been king in waiting to handle, but he will and they will be brilliant together before to long

2.) Have to agree. When cesc moved to Barca Jack was going to take over and rule the roost as far as the midfield is concerned. However, injury has blighted his progress but we must give him time and patience and he will come good, ala ramsey.

We are 59 minutes into this game and I hate to say it about an Arsenal player but Bendtner has got to be one of the worst players I have ever seen ANYWHERE! absolute rubbish. The sooner we offload him the better he is embarrassing. He is no PL player.

Just watched the Arsenal goal! Wow everyone's in for a treat if you haven't seen it . Think of a pin ball machine! So far goal of the season.

GOLD

1.) Listening on the radio they all sounded decent, with the first being a bit special. Looking forward to seeing them. Ramseys on it. Good day :-)
Flybo

2.) Trying to wait until match of the day. But I don't know if I can!

More bad news boys .! Two International friendlies announced for November. England v Germany, England v Chile, 15th and 19th of November. Personally I hope we have an excuse up our sleeve as to why our boys can't play I:e strained thigh, dodgy knee. whatever. Not very patriotic I know but November and December are not the months we need to be short of players through injuries caused by an International friendly! Anyhow wouldn't you think the FA would leave it out for a while now seeing as we only played last week. We already had Ozil limping off the other day and I don't want to see none if that again

Hello mate.well I'm glad you said speak from the head so I will do just that.
I thought we were poor in a few places the other night and to be honest I thought Jack was awful he made more passes to them than to us. I said it months ago we are going to be tested big time in November and December I think we've had an easy ride so far our first real test the other night proved we need more quality players to come in we could have got complacent I hope this is a wake up call for Wenger and the board. To be brutally honest I can't see Jack lasting the season, I hate admitting it he's been limping around quite a lot lately. As for winning the CL
no not really we should have got our finger out in the summer transfer window and any top player we may bring in in January will be CL cup tied so there will be no hope there.i think we should just hope to get in the play offs and concentrate on the Premier League and FA Cup and Carling Cup.
