{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, And Finally... Alex Ferguson!

Great read mate, without doubt a top manager but for me and I’ve said it before, Bob Paisley was the best.
{Ed001's Note - cheers mate, it was just to put forward another side to him as Liverpool fans were surprised that he had been so supportive of the club and fans over Hillsborough. I just thought it would be good to show that he was more than just a football manager chewing gum and shouting from the sidelines.}

Definitely mate, loved the bit about the fan from Leicester. It’s really nice to read stuff like that to give you the big picture.
I think with Fergie, despite our clubs rivalry, I always felt he was a good guy.

I always saw Fergie as a really nice bloke away from day to day football management but I didn't like how he went about things in his job, like winding refs up in the week leading up to a united game they were about to do in order to get United decisions that were wrong in their favour.
I always saw him as a completely ruthless football manager who would do absolutely anything to get an edge for his club no matter how unsporting or ungentlemanly it was, but after the 90 minutes (or 98 minutes depending if United were wining or not :-) he always seemed to be a very kind generous human being.
Everything I've ever read or heard about away from day to day football about Fergie has been of generosity and kindness and a really lovely man and I've heard lots of really nice stuff you don't get to hear about in the popular media about Fergie.
I actually think Jose Mourinho is similar away from the game, I've heard some really nice things about him too once separated from football.
