Is it me or is anyone else completely under whelmed with us going for Cabaye and Michu? Is that the best we can do? Thought's Gooners.
1.) Couldn't agree more mate we are getting the piss taken out of us.
2.) Both underrated would be happy with both of them as they are very good players used to the prem, I think add Williams and bergvic and we are almost there,
Di Maria as the marquee and we would of turned the corner
3.) I feel kind of the same although I feel cabaye is more suited to us and I really don't rate michu as highly as everyone else I just don't see what's so special about him and before everyone starts saying he had a great season last year that don't mean he's anything special to me as I have seen it time and time again before with other strikers
In that case we shall see if he is motivated by money!
Come on Malaga, did you think we would not notice who you are? lol
I also think the Rooney situation is not completely dead in the water for Arsenal. I think it could go down to Rooney making a choice between us or staying as Manchester United will NOT sell to Chelski. Another sticking point could be the wages.
That ship has sailed my friend. he will stay or if RM come in could go to them if the price is right and LFC find a replacement.
Benzema is the only proven striker until RM place a bid for Suarez. I still expect him to go and it will be to RM IMO
Trust me, if Wenger does not strengthen before the window closes the poisonus atmosphere at the Emirates will get worse. plus the media will use it like a dog with a bone to chip away at Wenger. no hiding place Wenger/Board - time is up!
I agree Jay - especially when you read the comments from Suarez when he signed his new long term contract last season:
"To sign a new contract with Liverpool is unbelievable for me because I am so happy here at both the club and also in the city.
That is important for me and I am very happy with my new contract.
When you are a kid, everybody wants to play for Liverpool. I am here now and it is a dream for me, and now I am a Liverpool fan.
I am happy off the pitch because the people of Liverpool are good with me and my family. I try my best on the pitch and when you are happy off the pitch, you are happy on the pitch.
I want to say thank-you to the fans because they are our 12th player. The supporters of Liverpool are unbelievable.
Five or six years ago I watched on TV the stadium and the club, and now I play here and the supporters have helped me. That's very important for me."
So what has gone wrong? Not a fan anymore Luis? Why sign a new deal just a year ago if you had no intention to stay? None of this makes any sense at all. IMO I don't blame Liverpool as Suarez cannot be trusted but I think they are making a big mistake - it worries me greatly as a Gooner that we are bidding such large amounts for this decieving horrible man - don't let the goals the player can give cloud the real mark of this man - trust me Liverpool forcing him to stay will do us a big favour but them keeping him will damage their club further - if I was them, I would of 'bitten' Arsenal's hand off when they offered £40m + £1 (sorry for the pun) :)
