Arsenal will never come right with Mikael Arteta. Arteta out now if Arsenal are to develop further.

And bring who in? Give him the season. Then make your mind up.
{Ed014's Note - I’m pretty certain he’s going nowhere, keeping faith as they did Wenger in his latter years when we were going nowhere.
2.) 02 Dec 2021 22:25:48
Ole's looking for a job!
3.) 02 Dec 2021 22:49:44
This season is Artetas good bad or indifferent.
Another 8th or worse finish would surely have to be the end of the road for him and us, no?
4.) 03 Dec 2021 08:42:51
For him, shlda happened aeons ago, us?
Never.

Fisrt time post. All this "Wenger out" nonsense. Wenger has proven that he can manage an allconquering football club with the invincible. He is now proving that a football club can be managed successfully as a business. i.e Arsenal are in football for business, and not in the business of football. Pesonally, I am enjoiying the hyphothesis and the intrigue of what Arsenal will achieve under current policy.

Good first post mate.
From a supporters viewpoint Arsenal are in the business of football.
Football first, financial profit second.
2.) Take a look at Bayern, for their game against CSKA, which was behind closed doors, some fans bought out the top floor over looking the stadium, so what did Bayern do? They paid the fans back.
When they came to Arsenal, and we may aswell have been wearing a balaclava when selling those tickets, Bayern paid the fans some of the ticket price back. And said "what's 2million to us? Nothing, what's €65 to a fan, quite a bit, it's more important that our fans are happy, than if we get financial profit."
We have a cash reserve of plus £150m but they continue to take as much as they can from the fans. Having a stable club is great, not having to worry about going down hill, but we need to think football and fans first. Money afterwards.
3.) So do we just keep feeding the owners pockets and keep the clubs bank balance on our wall and celebrate. If we were newcastle or villa in our position then yes il agree. But we should be challenging now.
End of the day the owner looks in may we are 3rd or 4th he will have a glass to celebrate. If you finish 5th he may start to panic on his investmen

Forget Tavares. What about Arteta?
