These are all smoke screens for Wenger to bring in ligue 2 imports.

Hi lads! Been having a think of what our squad could and should look like for next year.

Begovic
Jenko Kos Verm Nacho
Wanyama
Wilshere (C) Cazorla
Walcott Ox
Jovetic

Subs:
Szczesny, Gibbs, Arteta, Ramsey, Podolski, Giroud, Mertesacker

Reserves: Rosicky, Coquelin, Miquel, Bellerin, Eisfeld, Gnabry, Martinez

This is my personal opinion. I feel that this squad has a good amount of depth, however I only feel we will be able to land these signings if we manage top four, especially Jovetic.

I feel that Vermaelen and Koscielny are the best pairing of centre halves, especially if we have big Vic in the defensive midfield role who will provide the bully in the midfield who we really need to help break up play and win those important tackles that leave our defence so vulnerable.

Another problem which may occur would be all of the midfield options, who would we leave out? I feel that either Arteta or Rosicky would feel that they have to leave, which is disappointing as they are both quality and we really need to keep Ramsey.

The inclusion of Jovetic will definitely mean that Giroud wouldn't get much playing time, unless the formation changed so we played more of a 4-4-2 with him playing off Jovetic. However, I'd like to see the 4-5-1, with Jovetic and then a fit and firing Lukas Podolski competing for the same position.

I'd love to see Wilshere captain next year, would give him such a massive lift and it would reward him for being such an inspiration and providing much needed motivation in a very lacklustre side during these past few seasons.

We need to get rid of some dead-wood too; Arshavin, Squillaci, Sagna and Gervinho, I'm not too sure whether the last two will be going but I do hope so.

Then finally, I'd like to see Eisfeld and Gnabry a chance to be within the first team, these young talents are the future of our great club.

1.) Mertesacker is our best cb by a long shot. Kos and Per are the best pairing.

2.) Would definitely start Pod instead of either Ox or Theo. I might start Giroud over them too.

I'm not sure over our best CB pairing - probably is Mert and Kos.

I'm usually very upbeat, but I feel it's game over from here. Norwich will play this out.

It's clear to see Gervinho is not good enough, so why does AW let him on the pitch, let alone start him. He surely can't think he's in a rich vein of form with a couple of tap-ins in the last couple of games. Norwich are playing really well and they're a strong unit defensively. Why does AW not start the Ox to put impetus into the game, and some much needed skill, which Gervinho is clearly lacking.

On the other hand, Ramsey has impressed me today, putting in some real tough tackles and not giving their midfield any space. Clearly lack Tomas and his creativity though. :- (

What an excellent weekend so far, showed grit and determination to get a win against a strong WBA side. Now Tottenham and Everton have both dropped points and Chelsea are currently losing to Sunderland.
