This is not a rumour. My friends mates uncles brothers got a friend who's mate knows someone who went to school with Higuain and his friend was on holiday in Spain this week and at the hotel there was an astro turf and Higuain was playing one touch football 6 a aside game with his dad and Higuain said he might be coming over to play in England but he is not sure yet. Anyhow my mates friends dads uncles brothers cousin who is not out there etc. etc. let's wait and see.!

ISPY

1.) Its that same mate isn't it. gingeritis.

he's a pathetic liar man. don't trust a word he says.

he told me he played for Manchester United for over 15 years, but look at him. he's ginger and every time I have played 5-a side football, I am yet to see him dispossess someone with a ball.

This might be old but It was a new one to me.
Wayne Rooney is suing Tescos for putting his signature on the hot cross buns.!

Where did this rumour start about Arsenal officials are boarding the plane and flying to Madrid? Who saw them and did an official statement come from Arsenal to say what they were doing. It's not like anyone from Arsenal have made a statement and said "were off to Madrid to sign Higuain " unless I missed something.

ISPY

1.) It is the holidays after all, probably one official off to top up his tan

Eds. don't know if I agree with you it's a tough one. I was watching Cazorla closely yesterday for Spain against Tahiti and I would say he was at least 80% on his left foot. I know there is a lot of mixed opinions on this but I reckon he is more left footed.

ISPY

1.) Free kicks right footed? He's Right!

Ed is right I'm afraid. (As is Santi) Straight from the maestro's mouth.

Chapperz

3.) Why is this a debate? He has said regularly he is right footed! Why would you know more than the man himself?

Here's one to consider. Every time I have seen Puncheon play for Southampton I think to myself he might make a decent player at Arsenal. What does anyone else think?

I assume you're joking?

2.) To be a boot cleaner?

watford gooner

3.) I didn't know he was going in for the op, not sure would make bench for ladies anyway

Could be truec. I know that the Arsenal shop had a problem with the machine that presses the numbers on the shirts as I was in the shop the other day and Jack Wilshere said he would take it home for his dad to fix. Evidently Jacks dad is double handy with DIY

Well you would have thought RVP and Rooney would have been formidable but Rooney is in the shadows and he would be the same if he played with Higuain. Anyhow Arsenal could afford nearly 2 players with the quality of Higuain for what Rooney would want. He would be a waste of space at Arsenal so I hope he goes somewhere else. I believe Rooney would be a marketing tool for us, shirt sales, souvenirs and all that goes with it. On the pitch I don't believe he will be good enough for what we hope for. If he went to Barcelona, Real Madrid he will struggle to get a regular spot in the team.

Must have been 1963 then. Did George Armstrong play at all in that match then because if he never I must be remembering him from another time I saw them. I know he joined Arsenal before 1963.
I was watching old footage of George Armstrong and if anyone has the time I thought it was uncanny the resemblance between him and Jack Wilshere in the way they play. Same posture, movement etc if you have time have a look on YouTube.

Eds. I knew that about the ads I was just having a laugh with you all. Yeah you could say if I had the dough I would consider having the barnet re thatched at 57 it's a bit dodgy if your still playing football and you go to head the ball with a syrup on your head. Worse still is if you score a goal and your team mates run up and congratulate you rub your head and your syrup flies off for a throw in. Ha Ha
