I think all the Cesc talk (whether true or not) is a product of the feeling that Hazard and/or Oscar may leave Chelsea. Hazard wants to go to PSG and some think Oscar fell out with Mourinho. Don't know if that will happen, but if so they'll need MF reinforcements.
Agree with dream scenario; fear the nightmare.
This is evidence that we need to sort out our injury problem, not that we need to continually load up on midfielders. Putting real money and an open mind behind improving training and medical care is what's really needed.
Sorry, can't agree. Would love Cesc back, but it's a matter of prioritizing greatest needs with with finite money. If there's money for Cesc and a top-level world class striker, as well as the other needs like RB, then great. Unfortunately, I don't think there is. As far as I can tell, just about every Gooner would love Cesc back, but a lot of us see greater needs elsewhere. Would you forgo a much-needed striker to add to an already great midfield? I wouldn't; Wenger won't.
