Hi eds. Iv seen a couple of rumours about danny welbeck to arsenal. Is there any truth? He might no be world class but is still only 23 and can play wide, wengers sort of play don't you think?

Khedira is off to Chelsea and we're now going back after bender. Who would rather have bender?

Not according to the 'Chelsea ed', answering a Q about Khedira:

"Ed018's Note - I was told no a few days ago, I'm not sure if that has changed".

But it seems you have a better source (?).

Anyhow, I think both players would add something to our team and perhaps what we've been lacking. So I would be happy with either or morgan schneiderlin for that matter.

3.) I would much rather Khedira personally but I wouldn't like to see us chasing that Bender

4.) Well I would like to seen Sven Bender instead of Khedira.

Hi eds, looking at our squad were in no better position than we were at the end of last season, still a few players short. Do you know of any genuine interest in any forwards/attackers or likely see any coming in?

Ed's, with the doulas costa rumours I was just wondering, what sort of player he is as I don't know much about the player. Is he only really a attacking midfielder or can he play as a striker or on the wings?

{Ed001's Note - I don't actually know to be honest. I haven't seen anything of him at Shaktar (that is if I am even right about that being his team!).

Apparently, a striker.

Poor scoring record, 1 in 5.

2.) The only reason he is being linked (like he has for the last 3/4 summers) is because the does not want to return to Shaktar due to the unrest in that area. He is another Solomon Kalou.

3.) He is an attacking mid (again) and played 27 games, scoring 4 and assisting 9. He is great player, but I'm not sure that its what we need.

Who, if any are arsenals left midfield targets. We've all heard centre midfield and right back target but no consistent left sided plays.

Something tells me Sanchez will play from the left like Pires used to cutting in!

2.) I agree with Baz136 I see Sanchez slotting into the Left wide position competing with Podolski or Cazorla and Walcott will compete more with Ozil, Campbell and Gnarby on the right side.

I feel one of Podolski or Cazorla may feel a little pushed out now and I would not be totally surprised if one of them moved away if we received a good bid. We would not put the available signs up but I think if a good bid come in I think we would accept.


We need another orthodox big physical striker still to compete with Giroud because all other attacking options have proved pretty ineffective at that central up top role. Sonogo may come good but is far too raw at present and needs to be loaned out in my book. Campbell I don't see as long time Central striker and Podolski and Walcott the few times they have played centrally on their own have looked a little lost.

Hi ed's. With Sanchez being right footed where do you expect him to play? If it's on the right where will Walcott play, up front or on the left?
