Eds, do you see arsenal getting anyone in before deadline day? Are we waiting on dominoes to fall amongst other clubs?

Well he's responsible if it does ed. not a wenger hater but he has to make sure he strengthens the squad. If he is in the market he obviously feels we need someone. Leaving it till jan is a fall out plan and any quality out there will either be cup tied or not available.
I'm sure he has got something up his sleeve

I had seen reports that Walcott had agreed his Arsenal contract extension yet nothing has been announced, have you any info on where were at with this?

Judging by yesterday nothing has changed he's out of contract next summer, my guess is he will bide his time until January like last time when he is free to talk to other clubs which will strengthen his hand.
Either that or we'll buy a striker and sell this summer.

Do you think our pursuit of benzema is completely dependant on real signing aguero? Also do you feel it will be benzema or nobody in our pursuit of a striker?
