Does any one else think that, no "big name" signing would be willing to sign for us until we get through the Champs League play-off? We got a relatively tough draw this time and the past few seasons we had to wait until we qualified for CL, to bring in new players. I'm happy with all the business we did already but I hope we get an out and out striker, replacement for Vermealen and a DM.
1.) Didnt seem to play on the mind of sanchez
2.) This was said when we clinched the 4th place trophy and Sanchez and co didn't seem to deterred so I don't think its the problem people somtimes (media) like to think it is.
Just think we've had a great summer but if we'd finished 3rd we'd have Messi Ranaldo the whole Bayern team queuing up to join us :-)

I don't think it will make too much difference.
We have a reputation of being a Champion's league 'regular', so I don't think a qualifying round will make too much difference to any prospective new signing.

Hi Eds, can you please tell me if the below scenario is possible?
As Liverpool don't want to sell Suarez to us (premier league team), can we team up with some non-premier league team like Napoli and request Napoli to buy Suarez for 40 million and later sell him to us for a little more money? {Ed027's Note - that will not happen mate

That's a good point NE but the other clubs can't match the amount of wages city pays. I don't exactly know if Fernando is on a very big payroll but in general if a player has a choice he would prefer to go to City.

I'm never good with giving back when I'm locked in a banter conversation with other fans. I get fuming with anger whenever someone talks insultingly about Arsenal. Therefore, this is good stuff to handle Chelsea fans.Now all I need is something to counter the Man Utds fans.
