Can I just say to ED002, all the other EDS and everybody on the Arsenal site NOLLAIG SHONA DHAOIBH ( You all have a Happy christmas)
Can I also say on my behalf and everybody else who has needed help from our much maligned NHS what a great job they do all the year round, we do not appreciate the NHS until we really need their service so God Bless them for all the sterling work they do.
PS as a Christmas present for all you Arsenal fans I promise NOT to bet on Sanchez and Arsenal winning again as I seem to jinx them lol

Seeing the result of yesterday's poll it is obvious to most fans that Arsenal lack bite in midfield and also some good old fashioned hard but fair defenders.
I am of a certain age where I remember the famous chant "1-0 to the Arsenal" meaning once they scored, no goals were let in.
I note that Wenger is looking at Van Dijk of Celtic, having watched him regularly for Celtic, he is a classy defender good on the ball but at 22 he is prone to both ball watching and getting caught out of position, now he is in the Dutch squad he will improve.
The Celtic player Arsene Wenger should have bought was Wanyama, now with Southampton, he can play defensive midfield in a holding position or even central midfield and boy can he tackle, and as he has shown recently in EPL he can shoot also.
1.) Those two, at this time, would be dream signings! Just curious Tim, at the moment, Lennon or Delia?

ED007 on the Celtic banter site has told me that NEGooner has passed on good wishes after my recent heart problems, can I thank him and everyone else who has wished me a speedy recovery (although having bet on Sanchez and an Arsenal win last night, it set my recovery and my bank balance back lol)
