Here's a bit of a dilemma then. Do we allow Gibbs to take one for the team bearing in mind the Ox's current form or do we appeal the red card and lose Ox for the next game?

On another note, have we actually won a game this season that BT Sport has made us move to the lunchtime slot on a Saturday?

Toolbox

{Ed002's Note - You won't need to do that. It'll be rescinded and O-C punished instead.}

1.) Yeah the FA can take affirmative action on it and automatically ban the ox.

which they will, and also help us out, incase you haven't noticed we can still field a midfield. loosing gibbs would mean we have (fit)

Sagna, vermalen, jenkinson and the bfg.

monreal out, gibbs out, kos out

Things maybe looking bad on the injury front but, hey, you could be a Manchester United fan! ;-)

Thoughts on the Spuds:
Now Lamela is in the bag, the spurs are in talks with Ajax to sign Eriksen. This points towards a new transfer policy at Tottenham. Instead of waiting for us to be linked with a player and trying to hijack the deal, it seems that they are now doing all their scouting on Football Manager!
They may be buying quality but none are, as yet, World class players. You can't replace a W C player with lots of very good players in the hope one shines.
We may not have delved into the market yet but 'IF' we do get any of the targets we are linked with, then you will see truly World class players in North London.
Have faith fellow Gooners and remember every year they spend millions more than us and every year they FAIL!

1.) Thats one way of looking at it

Paulinho is already looking world class, and lamela most definitely is. I'm sad to say Tottenham are doing what arsenal should be. Strengthening!

3.) Toolbox, how do they fail?

Not so the case when the finish in the top 4 and we miss out, don't forget they haven't spent a penny, all the money will come back to them after Bale goes.

What about the 30 million wenger has saved? we ain't spent that matey

The term World Class is used far too much to describe players these days. How can you say Lamela is world class? 21 years old and hasn't won a trophy? Paulinho has a slightly better record but, a 25 year old with less than 20 caps for Brazil, says to me that there is better out there.
The World Class tag should be reserved for the top 5-10 players in their respected positions worldwide! No way these players fall in to this category.

5.) Its only two games in not two games to go. I can only go from previous seasons but I seem to recall the spurs bottling it when 'Squeaky bum time' rolls around! They won't have the chimp to 'Bale' them out and Soldado scoring a couple of pens doesn't fill me with fear.

6.) Sorry toolbox, I agree the term world class is used too easily nowadays, but who in Arsenals team is "world class". And who do you think you can buy who is "world class"

{Ed022's Note - Here is my honest assessment of much of the team. Cazorla is quality and probably our ONLY World Class player as he would be able to play for Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich. No other players IMO are World Class. Giroud is improving all the time, Ramsey is having an excellent start, Wilshere is still working his way back to his best, Koscielny is very good but not World Class yet. Gibbs and Monreal are good. Jenks is improving. Szczesny has a way to go to be World Class. Vermaelen has gone off the boil, Mertesacker has his failings but is ok for now. Walcott is inconsistent, Podolski is good but not World class...}

I think people need to stop worrying about all the spurs transfer dealings so far. let's face it, if and when they sell Bale, they will lose an average of 20 points from last season. I can't see their current new signings making this up any time soon. They have bought some quality but then they didn't have any real top drawer players last season (Bale the exception) so they are only adding to a mediocre squad.
This season we will once again prove there's only one team in North London and it ain't the virgin whites from down the seven sisters road!

It kinda says everything about the way the last two months have gone that now a game against Everton is considered BIG. These guys were in the 'best of the rest' race for fifth but I guess that's the 'trophy' we are now looking to win. HOLY CRAP!. Is this how it feels to support Spurs?

All our major injuries seem to have started when the England team stole our best physio Gary Lewin!

While I agree with you that we are somewhat light after our first 11, I have to disagree with your comments about the Spuds. They have sold/got rid of about 6 first team regulars from last season in bale, huddlestone, parker, dempsey, etc. Now, they have improved on some of these but that's not hard. They still look a little light and unproven up front to me. You say the season is long and injuries will hurt us. The same goes for them. They are now a closer match to us but nothing more. They may no longer be 'crap' but 'its STILL only spurs!'

You seem a little confused. If Lamela won't succeed in the prem why would he succeed if he was with us? We are in the prem. As for Chelski, if we finish above them we WILL win the league!
We do need something extra but World class extras are hard to come by.
