Ed 25, I'm talking about tonight's game. We played ok and if that's the best we can do against a poor Monaco team then we should never be in the champions league. I for one is sick and tired of not having a top class striker who isn't afraid to shoot from anywhere. That's what we needed tonight, not the pass pass around the box but someone who is ready to pull the trigger! I love arsenal to the death but major changes need to happen. The champions league should be just the winners of each European league not second third and fourth. ED25 thank you for your time. Rant over

Finally, someone who agrees with my thinking. We need an upgrade upfront if ever we are to compete for the UCL. Some games are tough and you will get 2 chances the whole game. The striker has to be clinical enough to put them away. Not to have a striker who scores a screamer on minute, and then misses two sitters. We needs efficiency upfront

Think some players need to go. Not happy we got knocked out by a second rate french team. Monaco are a poor team and we couldn't find another goal? Positives from the game....there isn't any we are out. Gutted, disappointed they have only themselves to blame. Just pray team moral doesn't go down now, every game now should be played like a cup final we need to win every game.

Agree in part Ed but I just think Monaco produced a masterclass on how to play away from home in 1st leg.

Sat deep, 2 rows of 4 and countered fast.

We, unfortunately, played into their hands in 1st leg by trying to win the whole tie in the first 45 minutes.

Totally agree Ed,

We only came to life in 2nd half at Emirates, but by than it was too late.

Yes, we underestimated them but they did play the perfect game.

Mert has to go, he is to slow. Ozil has to go I've backed him and put up with he's lazy performances but not no more! Too many times this season we have been " suicidal" just because we beat 1 team from the top four, doesn't mean we can win the league we have to give that performance every game. We need leaders of men, not pretty boys! With key games coming up in hope we get the results and keep third...unlikely but must keep the faith.

I'm a fan of ozil and I don't think he has been as bad in an arsenal shirt as so many people make out. Especially since returning for injury. However last night he was terrible

Why was ozil left on? Why didn't wenger give a toss? Worst performance of the season. This was supposed to be our chance to get to the next round.

Time and again the big games shows that we lack the mentality and focus to manage such pressure games. Not enough characters and leaders in the side. Yes the first goal was lucky but sloppy defending for 2nd and 3rd goals. A 1-0 loss would not have been total disaster but at 3-1 no chance to go through now.

Gutted! I will not blame the players as Wenger IS the one who has to go! Us fans are the ones who can get him out, I don't want him choosing the next manager it would be another step down. Us fans need to see the challenge for all trophies, not just happy for forth place. We will not sign any players in the January transfer window, just more excuses from him and the board.

1.) I agree, as much has Wenger has done in the past we can't dwell on the past and sentiment. We have gone stale and static under Wenger it has been proven consistenly that tactically Wenger is pretty clueless and he has little idea in getting the correct shape and balance to the squad.

How long have been waiting for a new midfielder box to box powerhouse, defensive midfielder and commanding CB. Why have we got like 6 central attacking midfielders and 2 so called defensive midfielders in Arteta and Flamini that are quite simply not up to it.

Just look at our recent record against the other top 4 sides over the last few years absolutely shocking.

His main weakness as is the French way almost is stubbornness, he refuses to change his ways despite the obvious evidence over a number of years that he is getting things wrong. Part of the problem aswell is that he is too close and loyal to his players. He sees them as his own children almost and has blind unmovable faith in players that have not performed or players like Diaby that are constantly injuired.

He is just not ruthless enough. Look how long it took us to get rid of Bendtner for example.

Tactically awful against every big team we lose on a tactical basis because we don't change our game plan, fail to indentify weaknesses in the opposition and fail to compensate for our weaknesses. Why are we still using Zonal Marking we look just too weak defending any set piece. Whenever the opposition have a corner or close free kick I always feel that they may score rather than what you should be feeling as a top side that the ball will be cleared.

For me we will not progress as a side until Wenger steps aside.

Can't believe what I watched, Arteta needs to learn from last season. No change from last season, laca being moved on same as Auba hence both not starting tonight.

Please someone give me good news, we need it😔.
